I just got called. I'm gonna be on the band bench! Is anyone else going?

Think they'll play Handwritten? I hope so!

I didn't think it was worth the time commitment to only hear a couple of songs. You're becoming quite the video/tv star Shelby!

Haha, it's like playing where's waldo to find me in videos of them now, haha (sort of). Too bad I wasn't actually in 45 for like a second. Then this TV shoot would be #4 if I show up.

I'm already in the city. I'm just going to leave work early to head over. So for me it's just something better to be doing besides a job that doesn't pay me!

Everyone should keep in mind that the Olympic opening ceremonies start Friday and fallon will be on later than usual. It is also possible that the scheduled start time gets delayed further if things run late for the ceremonies. So, you should set your dvrs accordingly.

Nice. I'll try and recognize you. I'll probably be the only weirdo in jeans b/c I'll be coming from work. I look like my current avatar except I will be wearing a shirt that isn't all cut up like that one, haha.

Wish I could go, but it wasn't possible for me to get down there for that.

They'll probably play at least 2. I can't see them doing more than 3 or 4 though.

I think last time they were on Fallon, they played one song for the show (Boxer) and then a song for a web exclusive (State of Love and Trust). I think that's his standard MO, even when he has legends like Paul Simon and the like on.

Josh you're right that is what they did last time. And set your DVRs people. Because that performance on Fallon is like nowhere to be found on the internet whereas all their other talk show performances seem to be easy to find.

Someone will record it (me) and it will also be up on the Late Night website after the show.

Being a west coast Gaslight fan really blows sometimes.

I got the call too CANT WAIT!

I came across a list the other day that said who was on the band bench list for what band and now I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or how to find it? I believe it was on the actual jimmy fallon site.

It's in the official rules. There is a link at the bottom of the page. I'm so envious that you get to go, stitches! I was hoping my phone would ring too but alas... Would have been hard to get there from Minneapolis anyway.

Wow they're a bit delayed on updating those lists. Oh well, I got a phone call and an email, I'm not worried.

Yeah, it definitely has it's downsides.
