I'm sure it'll be up on youtube shortly after it airs, but it might be a good idea to watch it -- show ratings support for the band.

Hopefully they'll get Letterman later as well.

Do Tivo ratings even count? Will DVR it though to watch in HD. Wonder which song they'll play...

I'm not sure what counts for ratings. Honestly it probably doesn't matter much. (Unlike buying the album).

They'll probably just play American Slang. Maybe Boxer as well? I don't know if bands usually get multiple songs on those shows.

Considering it's Fallon it will probably get taken down off of Youtube actually. NBC is nuts about that stuff.

Took me a while to find video of Ted Leo on his show but it was totally worth it. Great performance.

I'm guessing American Slang for sure.

Hope they play Boxer, much stronger song than AS and i think its their new single.

Im gonna be at the release show, then taking my english regents (part 1) the next morning. i have part 2 on thursday. if it gets past the rents, should i guys?

um, DUH. i would love to be there, if you have a chance to go, hell yeah you better! you got like a week's notice, start studying now!

i would be there but i'm flying to the bahamas on wednesday @ 4am. i'm lucky that i got clearance from my rents to go to the rec release.

i entered, it would be cool to see. if i get selected that is.
ill also be at the release show.

best news I've had all day; AS really isn't the best showcase for the album; that show gets about 1.7 million viewers, so I hope they make some converts

They played awesome.
did boxer and it sounded killer.
i was able to tell the alex's how killer their show last night was.

after boxer they also played state of love and trust.
i dont know if they are going to air both but it sounded great as usual.

The Gaslight FB says check the Jimmy Kimmel site later for a special performance...so that's probably State of Love and Trust.

They are on Fallon not Kimmel. But yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
When during the show will it air? I don't really want to spend an hour watching for three minutes of Gaslight I can probably catch online later.

most talk shows the band is the last thing to air.
i'd say go with the last ten minutes.

Whoops, yeah. I knew it was Fallon.

But yeah it will probably be the very end. DVR it if you have one...otherwise watch online.

Well, I thought that was pretty damn good. They sounded a lot tighter than they did at Bonnaroo. I'm excited to see SOLAT (my favorite Pearl Jam song) online.

That performance was really tight. Alex was concentrating so hard on his lead guitar that he looked like he was taking a math test. Sounded great!

The back of the stage ranged from obvious fans who knew every word to girls dancing like morons and swinging their boobs for the camera. That was... interesting. Great to see people singing every word though.

Good performance, Boxer isn't my favorite track on the album but I think it works for showing off the album and the band. I really like Alex's pointing at Brian in the short pause right before the second verse for whatever reason. He did it at the record release show too, just kind of a fun thing I guess. Band seemed really tight and confident with that song.

Wasn't digging the set up with all the "fans" (sorry if I offend anyone who was there). It just seems really forced and inauthentic (even though I did see two TGA shirts... the wheel ones with New Jersey written on it). Obviously, thats more of a Fallon comment than a TGA comment though.

Anyone know what Fallon started mumbling at the end after he shook Alex and Brian's hands? He started talking so damn fast I couldnt understand, I thought he might of said "best" and "New Jersey" in there but thats just me guessing
