That would be cool, but I don't know how the band feels about the Beatles. I've always heard Brian talk about Dylan and not the Beatles.

I would also hope that it would be put on as a bonus track, I'd rather a full original album.

On the basis that Alex L called Lennon "The master" on Twitter (see Day 3 on the first post of this thread), it's safe to say at least some like them.

Well there's no doubt they like them, but I don't know if they'd do a cover of a Beatles song. Don't get me wrong, I would absolutely love it. The Beatles have always been one of my favorite bands.

Good Lord I hope there aren't any covers on the album, especially not Beatles covers. I never understood the point of covering Beatles songs. They wrote, sang, played and produced everything perfectly in the studio. No point in doing it, in my book.

Firstly, I'm pretty sure that Brian likes the Beatles...I might be wrong but didn't he add part of a Beatles song onto the end of She Loves You in the Red Bull sessions he did?

But yeah I agree, I always want an album full of originals; leave the covers for the live shows.

That was "You've Really Got a Hold on Me" on She Loves You. Smoky Robinson and the Miracles did the original, but the Beatles did a version too.

Well, Brian and Alex R also did a cover of Come Together, don't forget.

I really like the hoarse version

I could see them doing covers for a deluxe version again. It's a fun way to have more songs as we've seen with Handwritten and the itunes sessions (and live).

If "Anywhere I Lay My Head" is any indication of the sounds they'll be using on this new record, I'm so fucking excited. Even more so than I was before.

I know it's a Tom Waits cover but they covered this for a reason

How long are they in the studio for again? Or do we not know exactly?

They were there for almost a month with Handwritten overall.
