hey, not all the questions were bad! he answered what the 84 was, which was what i had guessed.
i only read some of the questions, it was making my computer run too damn slow, i'll read through them later, though... Deb said he's writing out a transcript (right?) Also, I didn't know that about 84. I thought he meant getting to age 84 takes a lifetime. Now when I drive on that road I'll geek out like I do when I drive on Highway 9.

| It was definitely quantity over quality. Some questions you could tell he'd only half read. | |

| https://thegaslightanthem.forumotion.com/t4037-brian-twitter-transcript-4-19-12#98425Here's the transcript everyone, it took like 4 hours straight but its finally done If i remember right there's like 100 (120ish?) sum questions so its really long. If you notice anything wrong let me know, I cut out most, if not all, of the @/hashtags. So you will see the persons user name and question, followed by Brian's answer. Also if you notice an answer doesn't make sense, I think Brian miss read some of the questions. | |

| The gum... why must it be the gum!?!
You have to wonder how much longer it woulda gone on if Twitter hadn't cut him off! Most musicians/actors/etc. I follow only do a Q&A for like 15 minutes and only cus they're sitting around bored waiting for a plane or something. So he pretty much went above & beyond my expectations.
Thanks for that. It was difficult to figure out what question he was answering since the way Twitter works is weird if someone asked a question that was a reply to his reply to someone else, etc. This makes a lot more sense!

| Hey everybody. I got a question again. (Oh no! Not again !) You know, as a french guy, politic in the US seems a little bit complicated ^^ Brian said he was a patriot. When I search informations about it, I get contradictory informations. So I'm not here to jugde his political beliefs and I don't want to start a debate or whatever, but if someone could explain what is a patriot concretely, it would be super nice ! Have a good day/night everyone Aslo, thank you for your transcript ! | |

| I think it was just a way to avoid the question, you can translate patriot with its french equivalent | |

| I think you could read the patriot comment one of two ways. It either means he supports the right-wing-fringe Tea Party groups (who often call themselves patriots) or he is an American who believes in America. It would be the equivalent of saying "I don't support Sarkozy or Le Pen - I support France!" I have to think he meant the latter and not the former, since he said during the Asbury Park Red Bull interview he wasn't political and supports "whoever is going to kill the least amount of people." Edited to add: I agree with Plugga! I think he was trying to avoid the question too | |
