Thanks for sharing this.
IMO, questions plucked from fans are often going to be better than journalists' questions because we deeply love and understand the music. We want to know inspirations, definitions, reasons for arrangements on specific songs, etcetera. Journalists often ask the bands they interview the same basic template of questions, with the 'personalization' geared towards whatever the existing narrative may be (with TGA, the most obvious (and annoying) is the Bruce one). This is not to say there are not good interviews out there by music journalists; but truly, they are infinitely harder to find than the fan-inspired results.
I enjoyed the video format a great deal...nice to see facial expressions and emotions with the answers!

Thanks for posting! Really enjoyed that, especially the 2nd part of the last question. Love it when an artist answers fan questions, I agree with jensomniac, there's definitely a more personal connection in these types of interviews.

This is great. Thanks for posting it.
I was thinking, it's tough for a journalist to come up with good questions when realistically, they're not going to know every band they interview all that well. But why don't more of them do stuff like this? I mean, if you find a way to reach out to fans and let them give you questions, not only are you essentially letting other people do your job for you (who doesn't want that), you're also guaranteeing a certain number of readers/viewers because those who submit questions will a) know about the interview and b) want to see if their questions were picked.

Interesting video ^^
And I'd love to hear an old school punk album with Brian on it, too. That sounds really interesting.
