Not that i know of, I can talk to the admins and see if they want to set one up.

But honestly would having a twitter account in the long run really be such a great idea. I mean there's not much we could really use it for except rare ocassions like this.

We don't have much we can really announce and or tweet about that other people couldn't find out by just going to gaslights twitter

Fair point. I guess you could use it for announcing chats and other goings on, but even then I can't see how much use it would get.

Yeah that's true, I guess it could be used for like if people put out a new cover or something/ community things, but idk lol

manuela has a twitter account and so do many other people here, we can totally ask a few questions and hope!

Just set it up. Who cares. I was behind a Twitter account for a different board. We'd randomly post news that the band didn't (which was a lot) or say stuff like "Hey, discussion going on over at the board about the new video, join in!" then link the thread. Or just post a video by the band we thought was cool or something.

I'll message a few of the admins and see, but I have a feeling it might be a no because a similar discussion happened with getting a Facebook page set up. And many people felt there would be no point because of what was already pointed out.

Haha no I'll reference those ideas, they seem like good ones. I was mainly just trying to point out a similar instance where it didn't work out.

Well in all seriousness, say someone here posted an article the band didn't link to, you could tweet the link to the thread where it was posted. Could bring in new members if that's what you're into.

also most members of the forum already have their own personal twitter accounts which they can ask Brian questions so kinda pointless to have a forum twitter in that sense.

it's the same as a facebook page i guess...there is a dimestore saints facebook back and last.fm page but there is barely any activity involved.

as for a way to get new fans...I feel like if people wanted to join a gaslight forum than they could go search for one. (it's not hard to find dimestore saints on google).

just my two cents.

The one I was on it was actually two of us and we just posted whenever we felt like it. I sound like I'm pushing for this but I'm not. Just babbling.

Admins- it wouldn't be to hard for all of us to have the login info and post as we saw fit.

I could see linking to interviews and posts that don't go on the "official" gaslight announcement pages. That i guess could be one hook. But idk.

Or even using it when i announce normal chats times or when sanams new mix tapes come out. Community stuff happening around the site.

Haha but anyways enough of this derailment, we'll let you guys know if anything becomes of it.

I think a trick was missed in not asking Benny when the album is coming out.


OK, he may not have answered (but we'll never know) but it may well have prompted some other revelation from him about it.

Like I say, we'll never know now.

I always seem to miss TGA's tweets here in the UK as they tend to come out when I am in bed and by the time I get round to checking the feed, it's clogged up with nonsense. Maybe I should stop following some people.
