Yeah, similarly one of my buddys was trying to claim that in "45" when he sings "Drop the needle again", he's referencing Bruce in some song where he sings "drop the needle and play"
I was like bro. STOP. THATS RIDICULOUS.

In my opinion both The Queen of Lower Chelsea and She Loves You sound so much better live than the recorded versions. Last night's She Loves You was brilliant. I kind of wished they had recorded it like the way they play it live with the guitars.

I actually didn't even get a chance to check out merch. What was there besides the two shirts and the show poster?

I couldn't make out what he said. That doesn't sound coincidental to me considering the Gabel news is fresh and he posted a whole Tumblr about it.

great show man...I have to be honest, if you paid $100 off a scalper you still didn't get ripped off after that performance.

For the most part I find NYC audiences to be meh in comparison to other cities. I think a small pit broke out behind me (that I wasn't aware of until someone told me after the show). It wasn't a bad crowd, but it was no Jersey crowd
Agreed, this crowd was anemic.

I did expect more because my concert experiences in Brooklyn have been better than in Manhattan (at Knitting Factory, MHOW & Brooklyn Bowl anyway). But I can tell you that at least in the front row in my immediate area, people weren't going as crazy as I'd have liked. Though apparently that wasn't the case directly behind me.
Where were you standing Stars? (I don't know your actual name )

Shrews shouldn't post anymore, he is at a great overall number of posts. I wish I had bowed out gracefully after obtaining 666.

If anybody wants the Jets style Gaslight shirt, I will happily trade for a medium version of the Rangers shirt. I'll even throw in a couple bucks since I've worn it once or twice. I'm much more of a Rangers fan then Jets fan hahaha.

searched briefly and didn't see it mentioned but Brian dropped "the gym is neutral territory" from the Lifetime song of the same name at the end of We Came To Dance.

As cool as it is to have obtained the mark of the beast, I must move on.
L, I was standing on the elevated section at stage left. Since my wife is pregnant, we opted to stay away from the front of the stage. (Btw, my name is Eamonn (pronounced "aymin", it's Irish)

What?
Brian sang/said the line "the gym is neutral territory" at the very end of We Came To Dance. that line is from the Lifetime song (The Gym Is) Neutral Territory. Just thought I'd point that out since I definitely like to know where the random lines/tags Brian adds to songs come from.

He's been singing that bridge for a while now, his articulation was too bad to understand most part of it.
What I think I can make out is:
'All of your heroes are failures of ghosts, (can't figure next line), And all of the blood and the sweat that they gave, We took it all and we threw it away'. I can't make out the second line
i really hope he doesn't say failures of ghosts. i like the end part though

"We took it all, and we threw it all away." -- Bruce Springsteen, The Promise
I know he's straying away from allusions/references in his writing, but this is nearly word for word. Could easily be coincidental, but it's worth pointing out. Even if it's not a reference, he's using lyrics on TGA's 4th album that Bruce had written for what would have been his 4th album (for those who don't know, Bruce wrote an album's worth of songs that eventually turned into the Darkness album a couple years later after legal disputes with the label prevented him from recording when he was initially going to--The Promise was written during this time).
throwing things away is a pretty commonly used term, in rock and otherwise, i think. i'd say it's coincidence if even that
