Hey. I imagine this is where to put this thread, but if it isn't, a mod can move it (or ask me to).

I really wanted to catch the livestream of Gaslight's show on May 16th. I believe they are going to be playing songs from the new album and such, and really didn't want to miss it. HOWEVER, that night I'm going to a Bouncing Souls show and I won't be able to watch it. I was wondering if anyone here was planning on ripping it, (audio and/or video) and could post it/send it to me. Or, if no one is planning to, then maybe they would now?

Also, if this is an out-of-line request, let me know. I'm assuming no, since it's not something available to be bought/no money is changing hands, but in case.

My guess the stream will be available for replay. Most streaming sites have that option, it saves the stream as an actual video , after the stream has ended.

I've personally have seen it happen with other bands who have streamed a show. So I'll be very surprised if this isn't the case also.

and we have a great team of rippers in this forum so don't worry, you'll get to watch the stream afterwards one way or another.

i will probably try to record it just in case the show isn't archived on the livestream site. audio for sure. we'll see if i can remember what capture software i used in the past.

So I just found out I got burned with counterfeit tickets for tomorrow's show. Bought two off a guy in NYC on Sunday only to read online today that he is a known scam artist. Worst part about it is that I sent my cousin to pick up the tickets since he lives in the city. So at the very least I need to go in and pay him back.

I know it is a long shot but if anyone has one ticket Ieft I would at least feel a little better about myself. Seems silly to pay for something twice but I was so excited to go and now feel totally cheated. Not even about the money at this point.

Seems like this guy Shawn Lewis screwed a lot of hardcore fans. Really shitty

Even if they keep it on the site for a while I still think it's good if someone rips it so we have wider variety of proshot complete concerts! I think gaslight are best headlining a club/smallish venue and not playing festivals (even though they're great then too) but most proshot videos are from big festivals because the festivals film it. That's why it's great if we can get a good rip off of this

Dude, if you came all the way up from Philly, I hope you're not just going to hang out in front of the venue for the next 5 hours. Williamsburg is a very fun neighborhood. GO OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN.

Also find out parking info while you're there. I know there's street parking but last time it took me a friggin' half hour to find a spot. Like how we're giving you activities to do?

I went to the Brooklyn Bowl for a show last May and had a real easy time finding street parking over by the park. That's still about 5 blocks from this venue though.

Actually looking at a map now the park/field is on 12th street but there was plenty of parking over there. Still not that far of a walk. Maybe 5-10 minutes tops.
