Yeah, some of the later versions had the bridge version. I was hoping they'd decide to go back to the original one. maybe a demo of it'll still get released.

- This is it Guys and Girls...I have a feeling this is when Gaslight hits the big time.
Ditto that feeling. And , I'm not so sure that's such a great thing. I mean...I'm excited for them, but also kind of worried for them. I can't imagine what it would be like to be sooooooooo famous as to be recognized virtually anywhere one goes. But I do know what it's like to be in the public eye on a very small-scale local level. And it can be taxing on the nerves not to even be able to just run out to the A & P for a pack of tampons without somebody wanting to talk. Sometimes it's a real P.I.T.A. Still, that's just life in a small town with no airport -- easily remedied by shopping one town over, But what about the super-famous? How can they ever just "be" themselves, again? I dunno...maybe I'm being a nervous nellie, but I'm thinking privacy cannot be bought back once it's gone. So I pray TGA and their families may keep their privacy amidst their success, that they be graced with foresight and wisdom to navigate their way with prudence, and that they remain forever humble, oh, our Jersey sons...

| As long as they have GA sections at their big shows and don't charge a huge amount of money, I'll remain calm. | |

| Got a very funny feeling this is where our little secret ends, and everyone finds out and gets in on the party that the rest of us where having for the past 4/5 years. Really looking forward to the next chapter of the Gaslight story, it's shaping up to be quite the adventure for us, the fans. I can only imagine what the guys are feeling like. | |

OK see that's why I should go to bed now. It's 4:30am and I have no right being up. Except I just finished photo editing. So I guess that's a right.

| Right, I'm creating the DVD now, the HD rip seemed fine, obviously a bit blocky at times, but that was the stream. The DVD won't have chapters or anything, it will basically just be the stream, if someone wants to offer up a better version, that's awesome, but I'm going to maybe stick a DVD trading tree up later on today, if people want to join in on that, as I know torrenting etc. isn't for everyone.

I grabbed the HD stream from the archive last night. Watching it back now and it doesn't seem too blocky at all. It looks like a legit 720p with a couple camera angles that are lower quality, like the closeup shots of Benny. Obviously I haven't watched all of it, but both the audio and video are great so far. The file is a 1.5+gb flv though. So it's going to take some effort to split and/or convert to something more user-friendly. I'll have mp3s sometime this morning if someone else doesn't get to it first.

I ended up with a 3.2 gb mp4, it looks fine converted to DVD

He's been singing that bridge for a while now, his articulation was too bad to understand most part of it.

What I think I can make out is: 'All of your heroes are failures of ghosts, (can't figure next line), And all of the blood and the sweat that they gave, We took it all and we threw it away'. I can't make out the second line

'All of your heroes are failures of ghosts, (can't figure next line), And all of the blood and the sweat that they gave, We took it all and we threw it away'. I can't make out the second line "We took it all, and we threw it all away." -- Bruce Springsteen, The Promise I know he's straying away from allusions/references in his writing, but this is nearly word for word. Could easily be coincidental, but it's worth pointing out. Even if it's not a reference, he's using lyrics on TGA's 4th album that Bruce had written for what would have been his 4th album (for those who don't know, Bruce wrote an album's worth of songs that eventually turned into the Darkness album a couple years later after legal disputes with the label prevented him from recording when he was initially going to--The Promise was written during this time).

| I caught part of the show online last night and am just now getting a chance to watch the entire concert. What a great show! I think my favorite part was the end of Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts when Brian quoted Tom Gabel's "Harsh Realms" - "It's a harsh realm, don't abandon me." That was a very poignant moment. | |

| I had to head out while uploading this and am now on my phone, so hopefully this works.

Demuxed the audio from the live stream, converted to mp3, tracked and tagged everything. The intro and encore are separate tracks but the other banter is left at the end of the previous song.
edit: mediafire says 30+ people have downloaded this, so I guess it's working. here's the full tracklisting

I agree I think you could find lots of lyrics by all sorts of artists that have been used previously by other artists and it could be nothing more than coincidence. If you look hard enough with anyone you could find similar lyrics. It would be hard not to.
