You are so lucky! That's a great reason to be up early. I was up at 5:00 because I had to go into work early today. Ugh! Now the kids are in school so I have a few hours off, then I have to work until 8:00. Long day for me!

Good luck with the Bruce tix. I was lucky to get MSG and Prudential Center. Can't wait for the tour!

Haha, somewhat sane sounds about right! It really shouldn't be that rough of a day, just long. I have to take the little one to gymnastics and keep the older one occupied and out of trouble while we're there, that's my only challenge of the day. I'm so ready for the weekend!

Nope, it won't be bad. I'm with the kids all the time, it's kind of like I'm a third parent, so it's just life. They are just extensions of me most of the time, even when their parents are around. I have a very strong bond with those kids.

Yea for the weekend! And I have no plans other than to write and watch movies. And watch Downton Abbey! Plugga got me interested in it and I bought the DVDs, but I haven't started watching them yet. Tomorrow I will!

So where are you going to see Bruce? He isn't coming anywhere close to where I live...sigh.

Same here...Bruce is coming Nowhere near me this leg...I am hoping for a Pittsburgh date on the second US leg. I wish it was snowing here, It feels so weird with it being February and no snow whatsoever.

I wish it was snowing here too! This whole winter has been such a let down! Way too warm!

I doubt Bruce will ever come to the part of VA I live in. We don't have any big arenas around here. I would probably have to go up to D.C., but I don't get vacation time, so taking a day off for me means a big cut in my paycheck for the week, and I just can't afford that. Hopefully I'll get to see him in concert at some point in the future though!

not a fan of warm winters. This means probably a cold summer or a unbearably hot summer.

I would LOVE a cold summer, but that doesn't happen in the South. Being the pessimist that I am, I am expecting the hottest, most humid summer on record. I may not survive it. And I'm outside a lot with the kids in the summer (they are both on a swim team), so it will be totally miserable.

At least it probably does not rain every day. Pittsburgh is like Freaking Portland with the weather. It seriously rains every day, or else it is cloudy and miserable outside, I freaking hate it.

I'm going to see him in San Jose.

I still need to get around to watching Downton Abbey.

We get a lot of rain too. About 47 inches a year on average! Probably at least every other day in the summer with massive thunderstorms. My mom grew up in Portland and she said it rains way more here than there. And when we get rain, it's like the sky splits open and tries to drown us. And the kids' school is in the worst flood zone in the area. I don't mind the rain if I can stay in, but going out in it is no fun at all.

Yeah, I dislike the weather...at least I am not in Tornado Alley....Or else I would probably want to have a house with a saferoom, with probably 6ft thick concrete walls.

I miss living in that area! My family moved away from Sanra Cruz when I was 13, so I missed out on a lot of cool concerts and stuff when I got older. I hope you have a great time! You are so lucky!

Haha, that's the bunker I imagine you scurrying down to whenever you don't answer our posts!

Thankfully we don't get many tornadoes around here, but we do get tropical storms/hurricanes on occasion. Hurricane Isabelle hit us in 2003 and we lost power for 4 days. It was awful!
