There's a really dorky guy that always comes into the gas station I work at with his mom, and they always buy a bunch of junk food. Tonight they came in and I was putting some food out on the warmer and he and his mom were paying for their stuff and he was holding a cell phone out in front of him. He then said these exact words to my coworker, "I have my own personal cell phone now." *cell phone starts playing Star Wars theme music*
I had to turn away because I was giggling so hard. Then after they left my coworker just looked at me half laughing and said, "Okay, then!"

Exactly. The weirdest people on the planet roam through a gas station, that's for sure! I'd take the weirdos over the assholes any day, though. Like last week, grumpy bald guy comes in talking on his bluetooth, "I don't give a shit, they can suck my dick! No! I don't care!"

I laughed at him, too.

Laughing at people is great fun. It's not fun when it's just creepy people though, and I imagine you get some very creepy people in a gas station.

What's the creepiest/weirdest thing you've had happen while you've been at work?

You know, I haven't had too much creepy things happen to me personally, other than lingering eyes and a few inappropriate comments, I've been lucky, so far. I've seen 3 people get arrested, though! The girl I was working with tonight once had a guy back her into a corner and demand she give him a hug or he wouldn't leave. That was a few years ago before it was mandatory for two people to be working at all times, so no one was there to help her.
