Handwritten - the 2012 new album thread

June release date?

Does this mean its pretty much guaranteed for summer release? I cant see them saying "in May in advance of our next album coming out" if that means September...

I'm thinking this is too remind everyone in Europe that they still exist, and we'll be seeing it early/mid july.

Makes sense, because he said in an interview he'd started to write his songs on paper rather than in front of a computer screen.

Idk, i think its kind of cool, im guessing he named it after writing all the lyrics by hand. You know the idea that these songs are more personal, and haven't been lost in technology.

Well I like the title. It sounds retro, now just to hear the music to see whether this is closer to Sink or Swim, 59 sound, American Slang, or Something else entirely different.

I'm guessing it's called Handwritten since this is the first time they found their distinct sound. In that regard, this album is handwritten.

I'd wait for confirmation on the guys twitter or facebook before beliving that...

honestly doesn't really sound like a rock and roll album title to me. Makes me thing of a quiet acoustic side project.

The title does not matter, The material matters. Btw, seeing that photo....Did we ever figure out Who is on Benny's Drum?

Both of the sound way more rock and roll than "Handwritten". Its just like, rather boring sounding. Even "Daisy" sounds more interesting and I think Brand New intentionally tried to pick something lame sounding.

Obviously the content is the important stuff. But if you want the album to be complete perfection the title and album art and all that jazz needs to be perfect as well
