| I was so glad I was still drunk when I woke up, and then I didn't even have a hangover after. It was only yesterday when I saw one of my friends that I realised how bad I was the night before - there's so much I don't remember.
Horrendous hangovers I've had plenty of too. Went out on a Thursday night and was still hungover on the Sunday evening once.

| so I went to a Speakeasy bar last night. the place was dope. the place doesn't allow a group of more than six and you have to silence your phone and can't talk too loud once inside..we got sussed few times. once you get in the bar tender asks you like ten questions and makes you a drink depending on how you answer the question...my friend's drink had egg white in..super weird but super cool. |

| you have to be with the right type of people to enjoy it cause the whole keep it down/quiet thing only works if you are with people you kno well.
i didn't get beer there but they had 1920s style beer |

i didn't get beer there but they had 1920s style beer i'm not a quiet drunk at all. but if i just had one or two, i could do that. the whole "rules" thing turns me off at first, i just never go to any bars that are kinda pretentious like that. but i can see why they have the rules at a place like this. i definitely wanna go to one sometime.

So I had to buy it. nice! that sounds like the kind of thing they come out with around Christmas. costco is pretty cheap for booze, but the best place ever is Total Wine. $40? no way i could pay that much for booze! also, good to know someone else calls it a handle. no one seemed to understand what i meant when i said that!

I don't think I have ever seen Total Wine but BevMo is pretty cool also. |

BevMo is good, but Total Wine is at least a few bucks cheaper on everything. 1.75l is what i call a handle. but i go thru that in less than a week these days, so $40 is WAY too much!

| I think I am giving up ordering vodka/hard liquor when I go out on the rare occasion I drink. I'm going to go for the dinky drinks like "Mike's Hard Lemonade" or some such fruity nonsense. I just wanted to announce that. | |

| I ordered vodka/soda a few weeks ago and it was so strong it tasted like gasoline. I'm so lightweight now I get buzzed after like, three sips. Plus let's be honest, I never drank liquor cus it was tasty and I just don't give a crap about getting wasted anymore. At least Mike's, margaritas, etc. have some kind of enjoyable flavor. I'm old. | |

| haha! you are not old. you look young in your photos.
yeah, i know what you mean. that's a pretty strong drink! vodka usually mixes well and it doesn't have much taste compared to other liquors.

| It's good with fruity sodas like orange or black cherry. But restaurants/bars almost never have either of those flavors. Booo. | |
