i love the idea of this thread. between working nights at a newspaper or a bar ... my life is spent in a haze of stressful news and alcohol to numb the stress. my other numbing agent is music, especially gaslight. so this is pretty fitting.

for me, alcohol is numbing and/or stimulating...music is always stimulating if it's good music, it shouldn't be numbing!
