Every MBD fan I've met over here is really really nice. When I saw them in Eugene a couple years ago people were throwing punches. In NYC people didn't move (almost a fixture of NYC shows). Hopefully Philly is a mixture of the two.
I'm an awful Fake Probs fan because I still haven't bought the new record......

Only knew 2 songs...so they must have played all new stuff. The Menzingers and The Loved Ones were there hanging out.

Please note my Gaslight Anthem hoodie, representing everything that I choose to be. ha.
My friends and I are currently regretting the fact that we stood up front because this is some pretty awkward turtle right here, but oh well! Very cool.

Saw these guys tonight...first time seeing em as an headline act...Killed it. The Opening bands were really good. I was really impressed with Laura Stevenson and the Cans and also by the Pomegranates.
I also got a setlist by the Laura Stevenson and the Cans

haha, I was actually the cause of this! My dad's record shop is in the background, called "Feed Your Head! Music" and I convinced him to blast their music all night. They were playing at a 21 and up club, so I couldn't go, but I at least hoped the guys would have come by the store, which they eventually did! It was nice to at least say hi to them and buy some records and shirts from them before they went back to the bar to do their gig.
Actually, here's a photo from that night. :]

Yeah, he opened it up about two years ago, when the recession hit and he got laid off at his previous job. What's funny is that he basically opened it using a lot of his personal collection, since he had a good 4,000+ albums taking up an entire walk-in closet at our house, and he's been building on it ever since. He doesn't make too much money doing it, but he likes being at the shop and cool stuff like meeting all these bands happens a lot since there's a small venue across the street. :]

Saw them last night, it was a heck of a show. I was sad they weren't headlining though. I'm not a fan of Hellogoodbye so I just left after the FP set. I usually hate when people do things like that but I was tired and being in downtown St. Louis I was slightly paranoid that someone was going to smash in my car windows. (that didn't happen)
Anyways I'm pretty sure this was the set list:
Heartless Soulless Diamond Rings Don't Worry Baby ADT 5678 Songs for Teenagers RSVP Ghost to Coast Heart BPM
Both opening bands - A Great Big Pile of Leaves and Fences - were really cool, too. Check 'em out.

The reason Fakey Ps dropped out of the fest was cause they are going on a 6 week long tour opening up for Never Shout Never

So you mean instead of getting to watch Fake Problems in their proper environment at fest, I have to watch them with a bunch of teenage girls who probably have never heard of them and certainly don't care? <_<

Doesn't surprise me. They're already doing a split with him and I think they're friends. If they come near me I'll just leave before NSN.
