i've been listening a lot to the new album. while some lyrics are kinda weak, i really dig their sound. Grand Finale into Ghost to Coast is a great end to an album.

I've heard 3 of the songs from various samplers and such. Only song I didn't like was 5678.

I agree with "simo" regarding track # 2 ("5678"). That's probably the only song that I don't really like/skip over. With everything considered, I believe it's a great record........thier strongest/best effort thus far, which is exactly what I love to see......a band that is on the rise, just getting better and better with each album.
I really like the following tracks (not in order): ADT Songs for teenagers Soulless The magazines White lies Grand finale Ghost to coast
I could actually see TGA covering "The Magazines" and/or "Ghost to Coast" very well!
With less than 5 full listens, this is just my initial opinion of the album. I have not had the opportunity to review the lyrical content/quality as well as other factors which typically require greater listening, examining, and a more thorough review of an album.
For those who had the opportunity to go through and examine the lyrics.......how are they?
Lastly, Ted Hutt is seriously the man!!! Whatever he touches, turns out well!

Have to say I love the new album -some great songs on it They really seem to have 'matured' on this album -know lots of people will hate this word but on this its a good thing!!!
Some of the oddness has been lost but there are some quality tunes which have an almost "pop" feel to them which i also love
Opening song gets whole thing going on a real cool Up beat

It's Great To Be Alive I think is their best album, but the new one is pretty awesome, so many different songs for different moods, and a bunch of them are foot tappers.
