Haha ya i read about the whole pre order fiasco for Dave's LP. Never had a problem with a regular (ie: in stock merch) order though.

I ordered the CD and got it before release but I suppose that's different than ordering vinyl. Great album though. I don't listen to the Loved Ones much either but Resolutions is aweosme.

That´s what Dave says in the interview:

...I’ve been writing songs for the record, but I’m not sure how collaborative it’ll end up being. The writing process will be done, everyone will put their spices on it, and we’ll record it. .....The Loved Ones have been dormant and haven’t done much of anything. It’ll be interesting once we get moving on the recording of this record. We had a meeting and committed to a recording schedule. We’ll be recording throughout the fall. We’ll release the record next year and will tour on it....The recording process in this day and age is a lot different than it used to be. We probably won’t book time. We’ll put the record out when it’s done. I’d like to have it done by the end of the year and have it out in the spring. That seems like a potential goal. There are a lot of things going on though, so it’s hard to say...When the record comes out, we’ll tour. It’s a big commitment. Everyone has to realize what they’re getting into. It’d be another record and another year and a half of touring. I don’t know. It’s all hard to predict exactly. There is another Loved Ones record. We just need to make it.

As much as I want a new Loved One's record (which is real bad!)......if Dave can't get everyone to commit/on the same schedule, he should just keep that material and make another solo record! I know people in the band have lives and everything, but it just doesn't seem like some of the members in TLO's are fully commited. It's been forever since the last TLO's album and it was suppossed to be out this year, which obviously isn't going to happen. I don't know about you guys, but if members in TLO's can't fully commit, I'm happy to hear another solo album.......as "Resolutions" was just as good as any of TLO's albums, if not better.

I dont think its the rest of the guys from TLO's fault....I think Dave kinda overcommitted himself with all the solo tour stuff...I mean he hasn't take a break from touring solo so how is he going to record with the rest of the guys.

After the Revival Tour Dave is playing a series of gigs, does anybody know when and where these might be. I know of the London one on the 20th but what are the others?

he is also playing with Helen Chambers in Leeds on October 18. those two shows are the only ones that have been announced for now

So i got my package earlier this week. That's good news. But i was so disapointed with the packaging. I even sent them an email to let them know about it.

No bubble wrap. The LP wasn't even in a shrink? They could atleast took the record out of the sleeve and package it properly. Basically, the LP was in a box and that's it. There was no extra protection! So the sleeve's got a couple of bent corners and a dent on the upper left sleeve. Great.

I went to Leeds, was such a sick show, and after the show I spoke to Ian (who drove dave to the show) for an hour at least, he is such a gent, a conversation I will never forget

Look for The Philadelphia Sound comp. They have 2 tracks on it. Hope your not expecting anything that sounds like The Loved Ones. It's more akin to Paint it Black.

Just found out Dave Hause is opening a festival I'm going to next week, where should I start with him?

Resolutions album, it's fantastic, my album of last year, 30 minutes of pop/punk/acoustic goodness.
