No complaints here. I doubt I would buy it (the disposable camera still seems silly) but without early entry it doesn't adversely affect others if they offer this. Props to them for fixing that issue.

Haven't clicked all the way through to buy yet..they give any indication as to when to arrive?

There is not. I e-mailed them and was told they don't have that information yet.

Hi , I'm new here but thought I'd let you know that I've just got 2 pre shows for Alexandra Palace and once the purchase was complete it just says that you'll get an email soon telling you all the details for the pre show . You do get an email confirming your order and get an order number .

Maybe i'm being stupid here, but how do people who buy this package get in to hear the soundcheck, without getting early entry?

Do they get booted out and rejoin the queue?

This seems to address many of the issues people were voicing over the pre-show packages v1.0.

If they had done this years ago, I would of already bought this pre-show ticket. But now I'm sitting here, unemployed, trying to figure out if it's worth it all now. I already spent a lot on two tickets to the actual show ($65.50,) so an additional $161.50 would be $227. For all the things we "get" I need to justify the cost in my head. I can't be the only one. If we got to meet the band (which I've never been able to do) that would help my decision. and then having to go back out and wait in line and possible get a crappy standing spot for the actual show. Ahhh I need to decide

I purchased the Holmdel pre-show for my wife & I. With the fan club discount, it came to $113 total.
It may not appeal to everyone, but we think it's worth it to at least try it.

Still not sure how something that is completely optional and completely separate from the normal concert experience is exploitative. For most fans, the show will be exactly the same as it would be if this package didn't exist and for those that think it's cool, they have the option to get something they otherwise couldn't have had in addition to the normal experience.

I also don't think it's exploitive , nobody forces you to buy it and the pre show buyers get a bit of a bum deal by looking like you get bunged at the back of the queue anyway . I can see why 'fans' were pissed off with the original pre show package , I queued for hours in the snow at the troxy last year and would of been annoyed if pre show buyers were in already but wouldn't of blamed them , I don't get upset that someone can afford a better car or a first class plane ticket or the premium tickets to sports games , that's just the way things are .

Re rejoining the queue: Am I the only one who believes that the people queuing will let you join where you left? Like if you leave to get food or something like that. That's at least the experience I made with several bands/fans.

I agree. And I don't see why spending money on a preshow package is any different than buying tickets for multiple shows. You just get 2 experiences on the same day instead of in 2 different days. If I had the opportunity I would consider it.

I purchased on my phone & it wasn't on the first or second page, but definitely before you put your payment info in!

damn it!!! I can not buy it -.- I do not have the money for it because I have already bought a Meet and Greet package for an other band and this one was quite more expensive :/
If I knew this before, I would not have purchased the other one
