| This is probably the last thing I am going to put up of my own for a long while. I plan to work on these 3 songs along with 2 more when I get home in a more band like setting and then release all 5 of the tracks together. This is just a chorus of the 4th of the 5 songs. The song is called, "Fourth of July" Everything I have put up so far of my own is just in "Testing" and trying to figure out what I want to do. I really want the 5 songs to have a different sound and feel to them.

Well basically I've always been pretty active in different online communities. Dimestore Saints, Bad Religion fan forum, Imgur, 4chan, Reddit and a whole slew of other websites. If you get attention there you should be able to get people to listen to your stuff.

| Haha, I have no idea what genre that EP I am working on right now is headed toward. Some of it sounds like Rock, Punk Rock, Country. The one song I haven't released anything of(Oh, Love) sounds more like Folk Rock. I guess a variety of sounds is a good thing. Haha. This one is called "Brunette Sunshine" and I am getting a country sound from it. This is probably half of the song. I was planning on it to be quite short and the closing track of the 5 songs. Mistakes are made throughout it but its just a sample.

https://soundcloud.com/heartbreakdancer/fourth-of-july-original I would say the cheapest might be a Samson Meteor USB microphone. It's 99 bucks so technically there are cheaper microphones, but the thing about microphones is that you need a phantom power supply for them to work. The Meteor just plugs straight into your computer. I used it a while back to record my covers of Great Expectations, She loves you etc. Anyway nice song! Why does the guitar sound weird at times, though? Are you playing some weird kind of chords or are you just hitting the wrong string sometimes? Either way I liked your song. Here's an excerpt of a song I'm working on: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1bUI5atgTeb I had just about made my microphone work before I recorded this so it's very hasty and shoddy, but I wanted to record it to kinda show you guys the direction I'm taking with my solo music.
