| Death on Wednesday The Gaslight Anthem Get Back Loretta Hotel St. George Sayvinyl Sultans The Transit War Bonus points if anybody has heard of any of these (besides tGA), although I'll admit that none of these "catalouges" are very extensive at all, and most are from San Diego. I'm still a few things short of adding an awesome band called Limbeck to the list, and I also have everything that Spoon has released since signing to Merge Records. Good idea for a thread. | |

| Except for the Gaslight Anthem (who's full catalogue I own), I am only listing those artists with at least four albums/EPs to their name:
Bruce Springsteen 10,000 Maniacs Tom Petty Stereophonics Oasis
There are other artists who mean as much to me, but of whom I only have everything from a particular point on or up to a particular point (not being prepared to buy the rest just for the sake of it), eg. REM, Tracy Chapman, Maria McKee. And I assume were not talking collectibles.

| For the most part, I follow people instead of just bands. So...
Joey Cape (Solo, Bad Astronaut, Lagwagon, Afterburner, Playing Favorites) Jason Shevchuk (Kid Dynamite, None More Black, Bound, OnGuard, LaGrecia) Dan Yemin (Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, Paint it Black, Armalite) Raw Poetic (Panacea, Restoring Poetry In Music) Travis Omilian (Let Me Run, The Stand In) Ted Leo (The Pharmacists, Chisel, Animal Crackers, Solo) Garrett Klahn (Texas Is The Reason, Copper, Solea, New Rising Sons, Atlantic/Pacific) Dave Hause (Solo, Step Ahead, The Loved Ones, Paint It Black, The Curse) Ben Kenney (Incubus, Solo, The Roots, Supergrub, The Division Group, Time Lapse Consortium)
Might be some more. Also, I've been a 311 fan since I was 5, so I've acquired a collection that I'm proud of.

I challenge this. I think the current discography for Bob Marley is well over 30+ albums. No offense (it'd be sick if you did have it all)

| I think that most of those Marley albums are comps and greatest hits collections. I mean his study releses with the Wailers.
Oh, and forgot to add CCR.

| Listing 3 or more albums and EPs:
The Gaslight Anthem The Killers Oasis Kings Of Leon The Strokes Yeah Yeah Yeahs Bloc Party (yet 3rd album is crap).
There maybe some others but I can't think of them right now.
Also have a few bands where I've got everything they've released, but it's only like 2 albums, but won't bother listing them now. |

Oh, and forgot to add CCR. Fair enough. I downloaded em all and probably haven't listened to 70% of it. Tons of live albums too. And ya maybe 3 best ofs. CCR is a good collection too. Can't go wrong throwing on some creedance Unless its pre-Fogerty, that shouldn't even be called CCR

all official releases, incl. DVDs, as well as some other stuff I never got into Boss boots, other than the shows I went to, as there is just too much (for example, there is a compilation of 150 different versions of Backstreets ...)

What did everyone think of their newest album? And also, all my mates reckon Gaslight sounds like the killers because the singers sound similar? I dont really think so. Do you reckon?

I love the Killers. My favourite band along with Gaslight, although I don't like it when people compare the two- they're completely different. My friend says the same about them sounding similar but he hasn't listened to either band in any great depth- I think this is the case with most people who make the comparison. I love Day & Age, although it takes a bit of getting used to just as Sam's Town did after Hot Fuss. It's good that their sound has evolved- like Gaslight from SoS to '59 Sound- it represents a progression as a band, and shows they want to keep doing something new and not just churning out the same type of stuff. Anyone who's given up on it after a couple of listens, I'd say keep at it and hopefully you'll soon come to appreciate how good it is! |

| The music doesn't sound the same at all, but there are similarities between Brian's voice and the guy from the Killers. I don't really notice it that much anymore coz I listen to Gaslight a lot and don't really listen to the Killers (apart from their singles). But when I first heard Gaslight the vocals struck me as being very similar. | |

| guess im the only one that doesnt get the killers comparison. i admit, i enjoyed the first record...its still fun to put on and sing along to. sams town, theres a few good songs, yeah i like "when you were young," didnt even bother with the latest one. "day and age" or whatever... i am boggled by the fact that so many people find so many similarities between the two bands. the killers are so far inferior to gaslight its ridiculous, in my opinion. i also feel like i wanna slap brandon flowers every time i read another self involved, pretentious quote from his mouth, so that doesnt help my opinion of them. | |

| I have seen the Killers live in a huge indoor arena and I have got to say they were something special, and exceeded even the high expectations I had before going. Brandon Flowers was brilliant live as well, like a dynamo bouncing all over the stage; but I do think he's one of those guys who people either love or hate. I do get annoyed though with the similarities people draw between them and the Gaslight Anthem as I stated earlier. Steph, I'd say if you like Hot Fuss give Day & Age a chance, it's more similar to Hot Fuss than to Sam's Town. |

| well i don't know "the killers" that much and i never saw them live though i had the chance to because i do not rly like thier music. but conclusing by the few songs that i know by them, i don't think they sound similar to tga.
but i already read a a lot of people's thoughts on youtube and there were some making the comparison between the killers and tga |
