I read a review of the White Crosses ltd. ed. the other day, and it had one by one, bitter divisions, bob dylan dream and lehigh acres added on to the end of the 10 original songs. Anyway, the review said that those 4 extra songs flowed really well with the album and 'picked up' the 2nd half of the songs, so sounds interesting...

holy shit there San Antonio show was awesome

I am heading over to Charlotte on Saturday to see Against Me! The plan is meet up, have BBQ at a place I saw on The Food Network, drink authentic Carolina Moon-Shine (I have a mason jar full, which is pretty much a lifetime supply) and then party like a rock-star!

We are missing quite a few songs and might not ever get them

I don't know about these guys. Everytime I give these guys a listen I'm just not really grabbed by it. I understand what's awesome about them but the vocals just really turn me off I suppose. Perhaps I should listen to them when I'm really
wasted.

don't trip, it took me a while to get into em but once i was hooked, i couldnt stop listening to em

Once again Against Me! puts on an amazing show!

So I am down in the pit area looking to the right, when someone jumps off the stage and as I start to look to the left, all I see is forehead! Ouch. I knew I was cut instantly, but didn't think it was too bad... but then everyone's eyes got really big and moved away from me.

cuts around the eye and forehead can produce so much fuckin blood from the tiniest little cut it is crazy.
did you need to get stitched or anything?

seriously! haha. you look like youre dressed up for a halloween show. i love how you're smiling thru the bleeding.

it really didn't hurt at all... and as for stitches... I decided not to get any. I don't mind have a scar, it is not the first and probably wont be the last.

speaking of the new gaslight anthem album, tom, check out how strikingly similar the title/opening track on their album is to the title/opening track on white crosses. very strange to happen with two albums that are coming out so close together.

wouldn't be the first time that former touring partners got pissy and complained about Gaslight (I'm referring to Chicken from Dead To Me, for those who didn't get it)

but I thought Against Me! and Gaslight were on good terms.

maybe Brendan Kelly will make another blog post defending Gaslight, like last time

guess this rules out the idea of another Against Me/Gaslight tour

i remember in another interview i saw with tom someone asked him how it feels to see bands like TGA come up that he himself has influenced. Tom sort of jokingly said something along the lines of, I think its great, i mean as long as they do recognize that we are an influence to them.

so i dont know for sure, but i dont think theres any bad blood.
