Against Me!

I think I love this album. I shouldn't, there's not much evident balls or passion. But I can't stop listening to it, it's a great Dad-rocking, stadium rocking, standard rock album.

Also Ache With me is my favorite song on WC right now, I like the 60's sound it has to it, could do less with the 'chh ah' part though

I think that the opening of Spanish Moss sounds a lot like Baba O'Riley

still think the 2004 "demo" is the only good thing they've done.

Cool they're playing the UK early June, I'm there man!!! They were amazing last time I saw them in Brum, too bad Brum isn't amazing in the slightest!!! worst crowds in the UK!!!!

What?!?! 2004 "demo" is the only good thing they have done only if you are not counting "Searching For a Former Clarity", "Eternal Cowboy", "Reinventing Axl Rose", The "Crime" EP and the "Acoustic" EP!

my am! collection is - 2004 demo, searching for a former clarity, you look like i need a drink and wagon wheel. only stuff i can get into from them.

I've tried to listen to them often but I did not get it, why is everybody loving them so much?
a few days ago I've listened to the new one and I think it's pretty good.

Really not feeling the new album I didnt think they could do much worse than New Wave

I downloaded this album and it has grown on me! A first, I wasn't sure, but after a few listens, wow, WHITE CROSSES is good!

Ha , oh sweet irony. Thats actually one of my top ten songs of all time. When they played it live I went right to the front of the pit and shouted along in a very out of tune drunken northern accent. ah fun.

A very interesting article that brian posted on his twitter account, written by brendan kelly, has a bit to do with against me and their new album. I also thought it could relate to gaslight anthem considering they are now on an mtv voting contest.

what happened to the Dream About Bob Dylan song and that song they posted on their website of them practicing? didn't make the cut apparently

I heard that the album was supposed to have 12 songs but in the leak it's only 10, maybe those will be on the real album?

I hope so. I really liked that one that went like "They can take away your home, take away everything you own, but you don't have to surrender your soul"

Edit: according to wikipedia. it was supposed to have 12 originally, but was stripped down to 10. original pressings of the album will have 4 additional bonus tracks though

The album has only 10 tracks. the new ep - I WAS A TEENAGE ANARCHIST has another two songs, really good ones actually, should have made the album IMO. I also think SO MUCH MORE should have been on New Wave, wow, what a song!

I love Against Me!. But, I'm sure most of you already knew that.
