| If anyone going to Lupo's tomorrow has the capability to get the audio and share it with me I would love you forever. Forever and ever and ever. I'll be there, I just don't have a way of recording that much audio. Or know how at that. | |

| What a show! After about 12 shows I finally heard one of my faves - RECOGNIZE!! Also, I've noticed that their playing got "better". Not that they were ever bad but maybe more something. One of the best shows of any band I've seen. | |

Doors were moved from 6:30 to 6, then back to 6:30. Scandals went on at 7, off at 7:30 Northcote went on at 7:50, off at 8:35. Gaslight went on at 9, off at 10:40. There was a nice big clock near the sound board on the side of the stage. I found it quite useful

| I agree that it's time for longer shows.
And the lack of Get Hurt is very very odd. Especially that such a big deal was made about how its a new direction and sound. There was a lot of talk about not looking back and they are doing the complete opposite. That's not a complaint because I love to hear the old stuff. Would just think that this album would be a major focal point still. The album is just over six months old. What's even weirder is that Get Hurt and R&T (and basically Stay Vicious) were singles. Those ones have basically completely disappeared, you would think they would be in major rotation. All those songs sounded great live early on in the tour.
I would also like to see more diversity night to night in sets. They do mix it up pretty good as the tours go on but night to night would be better to see almost completely different sets.
That being said I'm pumped for Saturday

| First - thanks for all the great write-ups from last night. I was trolling for the setlist...It looked pretty good. I'd like a couple more from the new record, but who knows - we could see that in the next few weeks.
I do agree they should be playing a full 2 hours by now. The only reason I can think of they wouldn't is to preserve Brian's voice. Which tends to get blown by the end of a show. And a tour.
Or maybe they give him that extra 30 minutes a night in case he wants to talk. haha.

| The show tonight in Providence was fantastic. Great setlist that featured a really nice balance between all the albums and the performances were on point.

| As much as I like Lupo's itself, this is the second Gaslight show there in a row where the crowd has just been extremely lackluster. I understand that with Gaslight and Boston, it's pretty much either HOB or nothing at all, so a place like Lupo's is the next best thing for what they demand capacity-wise and whatnot, but ugh.
Anyway, I got a setlist. "She Loves You" is actually "Blue Jeans" on it, I guess it was a last minute change. I'll post a picture in the morning. Still thought it was a great show from the band. Really happy to get the slowed-down Great Expectations, Wherefore Art Thou, Elvis? and of course the Red At Night/I'm On Fire mashup.

| From my spot at Lupo's last night I felt this was an extremely enthusiastic crowd, more so than Webster the night before. A little bit too squishy for my taste but I guess that comes with a crowd that's into it. I think it really depends on where one ends up on any given night. I agree with the comment about a previous Lupo's show so I was surprised about the difference last night. Also, the sound/mix was FANTASTIC last night. Brian's vocals sounded so good!!! It was pretty much a perfect set as far as I am concerned. The Scandals and Northcote sounded great as well. | |

| Where were you standing? The crowd in the front and center was definitely not lackluster. There was a ton of constant shoving and shouting lyrics and some girl spilled her drink down my back. But overall I agree that the show itself was a really great mix of old and new and they sounded their best. I was surprised at how much I liked hearing the new songs live. For some reason they were just really good to dance to. | |

| I was all the way to the left in front of Alex R. First row, in front of the barricade. We were pretty calm, but the middle section was for sure really energetic and into it. If any of you saw the beer can fly onto the stage, that came from behind me. I got covered. Anyway, great set, great performance, although I feel a little like Brian wasn't into it so much. He sounded incredible though. Met the guys at a restaurant a few doors down, got some of Benny's broken sticks. It was a really good night. | |

| I WAS STANDING NEXT TO THE GUY WHO THREW THE BEER. I said "WELL THAT WAS NOT FUCKING COOL." He was drunk, closing his eyes and swaying. He was like, dirty dancing with himself during Helter Skeleton. After he threw it, I moved. Because if I didn't, I was going to kill him with my camera. I was up in the balcony for the rest of the set. The crowd looked energetic from above anyway. Some crowdsurfing. Nothing super crazy, but not dead. | |

While the quality and flow improved as the night went on I also loved this show because the band was just playing whatever they felt like. Last September the show was good, but it was structured, the kind of show that you would expect to accompany the release of their new album at the time, Get Hurt.

| That review makes it seem like they just stumbled their way through the first half of the set which just really wasn't the case at all imo. I agree with the sentiment in the paragraph you quoted above for sure, but a lot of the rest of it seemed like pretty heavy exaggeration on certain points | |

I was on the barrier, between Brian and Alex L. But by lackluster I don't mean lacking in energy, I just mean behavior-wise where it's taken past the point of fun and just over-the-top aggression. I don't know. There was a guy screaming for Brian to shut the fuck up when he was talking. There was the stereotypical guy just throwing himself into the people around me for the first six songs. I got a beer dumped on my head, so maybe I'm just a bit sour about that. The show just felt a little off to me. It's not like I regret being there, though. Here's the setlist, sorry it's a day late. Like I said, "She Loves You" was in over "Blue Jeans".

| Got back to Boston from the New York and Providence shows this afternoon. What a great three nights, I am still on a "music high" today. Took a few pictures, I am sure there are better ones out there but I thought I'd share anyway, you may be able to spot yourself in the Terminal 5 crowd https://www.flickr.com/photos/36455967@N00/sets/72157650702227480/ | |

| So Baltimore was my least favorite of the first 4 shows but it was still a good show. The crowd was pretty out of it at times though and I think, for me at least, that really killed the vibe. I think part of that was due to a kind of oddly paced setlist (lots of slower songs with the occasional "fast" song in the middle) but they're still good songs even if they're not up to speed so I don't know why the crowd was like that. I will say this about the people around me though, a good ten of us banded together to keep out one or two drunken assholes and I've never seen such teamwork, haha.
Ram's Head is also one of my new favorite venues due to how you can pay ten bucks two hours before doors and be let into the bar. They give you a number so you essentially have a reserved place in line, and then you can drink, eat, hang out, whatever rather than turning into a block of ice outside.
EDIT: I wanted to add that I continue to be amazed at the entire Gaslight community. I'm talking the band, the crew, and the fans. I mean, sure there's some questionable crowds but I have honestly never met so many kind, generous, friendly, genuine people in any aspect of my every day life as I have at these shows. While I am a huge fan of Gaslight's music, I probably wouldn't go to as many shows as I do if not for all the people involved.

| Ram's Head is one of the best and frankly, classiest venues in B-More. Moving towards the future, who is going to gasparilla in tampa? | |

| 7 Get Hurt songs on the Baltimore setlist if I haven't miscounted. So that should make everyone happy now And I think the variation in the recent setlists is great!
