Tour in 2015?

^this. Think Handwritten tour was ~16 months give or take mini-breaks between continents or holidays (and not counting the one-off trickle of festivals at the end)?

I get touring for many months, many artists do it. Often they can't get to places right out of the gate due to venue scheduling or whatever. But I remember looking at the HW dates and seeing 9,10,11 nights in a row before a day off. I guess this is what they signed up for but that is brutal.

This is one of the best interviews of the band I've read so far. Alex R. never really talks, and I think what he says in this is really great regarding the way the band works. Great read.

I hope they will do another European tour 😀 and come to Luxembourg

I'll probably have to travel across state lines to see them in 2015. I'd be shocked if they played AZ again. Bands LOVE to skip AZ even though Phoenix is the 6th largest city in the US...

I so hope they come back to the UK even if I do get to see them next month which is slim

Yep. And Finland. Not holding my breath though. They probably come to some expensive shit festival in the summer. Again. Better than nothing of course, but the last festival they did was just "not their place" or something...#bitter #cynic

it wouldn't surprise me if they doing an opening spot on some band's arena tour (foo fighters, black keys, etc.) for a bit

that would be great for the band, but not great for fans who will have to pay high ticket prices or sit in nosebleeds. lol

First 2015 dates are out - for Australia. 4 shows end of January / beginning of February.

Not impossible at all considering that FF has a new record coming out. And it would quite funny, because:
Gaslight supported Against Me in 2007 (am I correct?)
Against Me supported for Foos in 2008(still not 100% sure, but I think so)
Against Me supports for Gaslight now in 2014
So Gaslight got to support for Foos in 2015 (as they have done in the past, but not the whole or even half of a tour). And I've always kinda thinked that some FF fans (like myself) would like TGA.

that's some inception-grade shit right there. the against me, bad religion, rise against who opens for who and when dichotomy is similar. i've seen rise against for bad religion and vice versa, against me open for rise and vice versa, and them both open for bad religion in a show.
all that said- i'd love a TGA/FF tour (if they add Dave Hause, HWM, or Chuck Ragan i'd cry)

Didn't Brian say at one show that they will bring Dave next year? So they for sure tour Europe again in 2015.

I agree with above though that they should be carefull that they don't burn out. Esp. since their tour shedule is pretty packed usually with only a very few days off.

If they'll do a Canadian tour next August/September, I guess my decision on whether to travel to Canada or New Zealand is settled.

Though I sometimes wonder if playing shows is even fun for bands anymore after touring for so many months.

At the Alexandra Palace pre show Brian said they would be in Ireland in June as someone asked him why they didn't go there this time . Hopefully some more UK dates then too .

I also read somewhere sth with Spain... that someone asked Gaslight on twitter if they skipp Spain like other bands, they said next year

It is probably like with every other job. Usually you like it but there are days you don't.

Fingers crossed here for another UK tour, and ideally a stop in Leeds. Also it would be incredible if they played Glastonbury again.

It's a fairly safe bet that they will be in Europe over most of the summer, but you would expect the majority of those dates to be festivals. Not sure we'll get another proper tour next year, though very happy to be proven wrong!

I'm going out on a limb and saying they'll almost certainly be at Reading/Leeds. Having done it 4 times in 5 years, they haven't been there since 2012. I imagine they'll be having withdrawal symptoms.
