Really? I feel the opposite. I enjoyed both Boston shows I went to. The last Providence one though brought out one of the most annoying crowds I've been in. Almost everyone around me was just obnoxious. I remember one girl with blue and pink hair like cotton candy who enjoyed shoving everyone behind her back with her ass and then flailing and whacking everyone in the face. And a poor little kid next to me, who wasn't even the height of the barricade was just trying not to get killed!
But I'm going to this show anyway...fingers crossed it's a better crowd. Im just a bigger fan of Providence. It has a small city feel to it. It's easier to get into than Boston. There's more stuff to do around Lupos within a stone's throw. I live in Worcester and wished they would play The Palladium again. But the Palladium is such a dump. Like, it always smells like 25 years worth of sweat, blood, and tears. But seeing a favorite band in my hometown again, would rule. I think house of blues a better venue. not a bad view in there, unless youre short. But I love Lupos vibe. It's got a punk rock/dive bar vibe for me

| I'm trying to buy Fan Club presale tickets now. Is Ticketmaster going really slow for anyone else, or just me? | |

| Yup, had 10 minute wait right at 10a, but opened a separate window at 10:02 and got right in. Ticketbastard. | |

| Ugh, that sucks, I'm sorry!
Not sure which venue you're trying for, but there are other presales (credit cards, online publications, etc) for certain venues before the 12th. And most (all?) of these venues are GA so as long as you get a ticket, your show experience can be whatever you want it to be.

| I opened both the ticketmaster page for NYC and Lupo's page for Providence at like 3 minutes to 10 and both had countdowns and refreshed themselves when they got to zero, it was wonderful. And ticketmaster was 10 seconds ahead so I was able to start that order before the other one came up. Smoothest ticket buying process I've ever had. I guess I got lucky?
I'd keep trying though guys, I've gotten shut out for 30ish minutes before and still gotten tickets. Plus there's the general sale Friday.

"And everybody used to call you lucky"... Yes indeed. Did the exact same (NYC and Balt) and got punted to the 10 minute waiting room immediately. More so, I am simultaneously pleased and amused you can put Ticketmaster and "smoothest ticket buying experience ever" in one sentence, Shelby! - StitchesOnTheRadio wrote:

^Truth I'm surprised I can put them in the same sentence too! This has NEVER been my experience before. I thought "wow, not that many people must be buying them this morning" because I also logged into the Baltimore one at about ten after, got a ticket, then released it back to the public because I'm not sure yet that I can go to that one.

| Got two tickets for Columbus and Cleveland easy. Didn't get any for New York though. Gonna have to try again on Friday.
After getting all my Foo Fighters tickets these past few weeks, being able to buy two tickets for a show for less than 100 dollars is pretty damn refreshing.

| I'm a bit confused by them playing one show at Terminal 5 on this run. On the Handwritten tour, they sold 3 nights there (likely with a good number of repeat customers, but still). They sold a pretty healthy number of tickets at PNC last summer (from the looks of it, likely in 8-9k range, since a pretty good portion of the bowl was full, plus the lawn, and maximum there is something like 13k).
And so now, they're going to play one show at a venue that holds 3k? Either this is going to be a very hard ticket, or a night two is going to get added, or promoters rightly have no faith in their ability to sell tickets.
(For what it's worth, there are some open days on the schedule after T5, so I do wonder if they are going to doing a late announced night two. They've proven they can sell a good number of tix. There's really nowhere, save Radio City, that is bigger than T5 but not an arena, and they can't sell an arena yet. Much as I dislike T5, 2-3 nights there sounds about right to me.)

| I was kinda wondering if this was it...I would wager there will be more dates (one more wave of cities maybe? later in the year? some festivals?). There are only a couple overlaps from the fall 2014 cities (NYC and Mnpls being two that I recall) so they are hitting what they didn't last time. Spreading the love . And the lucky folks get Round 2 now. They always played Chicago a bunch of times each tour, and they are not this time so we all gotta road trip north (It's not that far, tho, so...no biggie... )....maybe they learned their lesson in oversaturation. (I have been to the Bowery but not Terminal 5. And I have heard absolutely nothing good about Terminal 5... sorry guys....) | |

| I got Terminal 5 and Lupos, very happy. I went with Terminal 5 first because I figured this would be the more difficult ticket. Got a weird message first that the site was slow due to high demand but strangely it kept refreshing itself and then I got the box for the presale code. After that I went for Lupo's and got that smoothly. | |

| Don't have the fanclub anymore so hoping I can get T5 tix on Friday. Really pumped Northcote is on this tour, got to talk to him after his set twice after two of the Dave shows I went to. Awesome guy and his music is great. But yeah, I really hope they do what they were doing in Europe with the "no encore" thing, plus the setlists looked like some of the best I've seen from the band. Should be a great tour. T5 isn't a great venue, but I'll deal. A couple of nights at Irving would have been better...love that place. | |

I reported it from my eBay profile. However, in reading the fine print, this does not appear to violate eBay's listing policies for presales and the seller is an expert at it for many events since 2011. As is evidenced by a screen shot of positive comments at the bottom of the listing. Everything, it seems, can be bought.

I know, I was super bummed to see that, too. I decided to make the 12-hour trip up to Portland! I've only been once (well, I drove through it so that doesn't really count...), and it's on a Saturday, so I figured why not!

Everything, it seems, can be bought. That stinks. I wonder if maybe 45RPM can do anything about it? Not a member myself yet, but maybe there is a contact email someone may have?

Brought it to Benny's attention. Hopefully something can be done. Personally I've always worried about these passwords for this reason. The better option would be if they could tie it to club member accounts. Like selling the tickets through the club store for example. But probably venues and ticket websites contractual agreements would be too hard to work around. But just a thought.

What credit card pre-sales are running tomorrow? definitely American Express. I think it depends on the city.
