Was googling around for (literally) 'similar bands to TGA'. Eventually ended up here and on a couple of other bands that sound pretty great so far, woohoo.
Spinning In Circles Is A Gateway Drug - Red City Radio
Except for that, trying to keep from smoking for the sake of a cold that's causing me plenty of coughing fits as is is proving more annoying than I'd expected, tbh
(Unfortunately, I don't know much about Minneapolis, except that it produced at least 2 very awesome bands with Husker Du and The Hold Steady)

Hey, don't forget about The Replacements;)
You should give a band called Beach Slang a listen if you haven't heard 'em!

Nah mang, sorry I never got around to responding to your PM. I had some bouts of existential crisis around christmas and everything was kinda falling down on itself, so I decided to move back to Oskarshamn to work at a shitty factory job for a few months to save some money.
I'm gonna start studying in the fall, and I'm currently deciding between Kalmar and Uppsala. Uppsala would be cool because it would allow me easy access to Stockholm without having to deal with all the constant stress and stuff that comes with it.

No sweat. Sorry to hear that. Both Kalmar and Uppsala are nice cities. What are you planning on studying?

So yeah, last nights open mic went over well. A woman said " nice songs, I'm impressed". Met a guy here on vacation from Hawaii there, and just a much needed night out. I forgot I actually have a nice singing voice.

Red City Radio's great, but I gotta say, "I'm Well, You're Poison" 's not a good song to have stuck in your head past 3AM. Doesn't make for good sleeping music. *shrugs*
I don't care if that dress is black and blue in real life... the stripes on it in the photo are f*$%^#g gold. People say I'm crazy for looking at blue and seeing white, but apparently they're totally sane for seeing mustard gold and processing it as black. People, man... I don't get them.

Ok, so I seriously thought the Terminal 5 show the other night took place at JFK International Airport because of this:
New York City is far too confusing for me. Don't ever let me live there; I'd die.

They are great. Really not the best song for that, though. Going to see them tonight for the first time. Excited to find out how they sound live.

Well, I grew a beard and shaved it off. I also dropped my weight down to 175 from 180 a year ago. I'm trying to drop my weight so low bones show if I move in the right way- like 145-140lbs.
