Why don't you try it?
It's very rewarding. Because that's not me. I'm only yanking your chain brah, but seriously that whole attitude is another thing you might want to give some thought. How can you say "that's not you" when you've never given it a decent chance? I'm not saying go out there and snort cocaine, but you should try going the extra mile, challenge yourself.

I don't mean this in a mean way either Jim. I nominate you! I'll give you a quick rundown. Jimmy has, time and time again, complained about his love life and his inability to connect to people in his hometown. Sympathy quickly turns to annoyance for most people as he is quick to reject all advice (and usually simply just doesn't respond to people). As far as my relationship with him is concerned, it's...hard to explain. As much as he annoys me (or rather perplexes me), I can't imagine this forum without him. It's like Batman and The Joker. Without The Joker, what would Batman fight for? I've also made a few comics in which he and I are the starring (and only) characters. Perhaps I'll show them one day.

Son it might not be the most exciting in terms of action and whatnot but my god, the acting and writing is some of the best that's ever been out there. It still breaks my heart to think about what went down in that show. There are some fantastic monologues and moments, but they're too far and few between, and I hate how formulaic it feels. I really don't think it's that well written or even shot for that matter. I will definitely agree the performances from the two leads are outstanding. It's a good show, but nothing great, and certainly nothing spectacular. In the end it's obviously all subjective, but I consider Mad Men, and (although it's basically just a mini-series) True Detective, to be top tier television.

Yup, we can't all love the same thing. I watched maybe three seasons of Mad Men and I thought it was great, but somewhere along the way I just got really tired of Don cheating on his wife every damn episode. I've also been meaning to get into True Detective, I watched the first episode and man those guys can act.

If you like that song you should REALLY check out the Twin Forks cover of it. Takes all those good melodies and makes it rawer with a better voice (in my opinion). http://noisetrade.com/twinforks/an-introduction-to-twin-forks

| But back to my future wife/lover Taylor Swift: "Mine" is an amazing song. Absolutely fantastic. Im an unashamed fan of a lot of her older stuff, and most of Red. That new song is complete shit though. Still love you, Taylor, if you're reading this. Also, Harbortown, that comic is gold, as is the Batman analogy. | |

I've also been meaning to get into True Detective, I watched the first episode and man those guys can act. Mad Men and Breaking Bad have completely rocked my world these past couple years. Such phenomenal shows in so many different aspects. I love the Breaking Bad binge marathons that they have going on now. Puts some nostalgia into my Sundays. I watched a couple episodes of True Detective and I definitely need to finish the season soon. Also, that comic is incredible. As was the Batman-Joker analogy.
