Well, I work this morning. I also may have romanticized the 70's music only, but man, the 2000's suck! There is very little good in these past 14 years.Gaslight is one of the highpoints.

I just can't hear this "todays music suck" anymore
There's plenty of great music from the past few years!
The National, Of Monsters and Men, The Lumineers, Dave Hause, Alela Diane, Caroline Rose, Kings of Leon, Augustines, Jack White, The Black Keys, Black Pistol Fire, Tribes, Phox, The Milk Carton Kids, Milky Chance, Lykke Li, The War On Drugs, Mighty Oaks, Gregory Alan Isakov, Yodelice, J Roddy Walston, Okkervil River, The Decemberists, Passenger, Half Moon Run, Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, PLUS MANY OLD STARS STILL PUTTING OUT NEW MUSIC LIKE Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, ...
Those are just a few of the back of my head and i could go on for hours! You just have to dig a little deeper through the mainstream-radio-stuff and even a lot of those radio-artist put out some great songs. But to say There is VERY LITTLE GOOD music in the past 14 years is just not right in my opinion. It may be that there is not that much for your liking, i give you that. But with the massive amount of artists you have access to today through the internet, this it's more or less unlikely that there aren't at least 20 bands from the last years that you enjoy

Has anyone checked out new record from The Hotelier?
It's called Home, Like NoPlace Is There, and it's probably my AOTY. Honestly, it's slipping into my favourites of all time.
Note - It's usually considered pop punk / emo, but I prefer to just call it alt rock.
Any-who, check it out, it's virtually flawless.

I followed the comic for a while but, as with all thing in my life, lost track of it and totally forgot about it after a short while.
It's good though!

i think it's better to forget about it for a while, that way you get to read a bunch of strips at once instead of just one a week!

I mentioned this in Kates thread, but who knows who goes there
Pretty sure my band has some studio time next month. If anyone wants to listen to the 3 or 4 demos we're gonna be making into songs and give us some pre-production feedback that would be MUCH appreciated. Let me know.

Crazy boring. I didn't work today and all I've been doing is job searching and playing guitar. What about you Kate? I hope you have had more of an interesting day than I have.

Awh, the weather is nice here today too. I'm glad you enjoyed your ride? Job searching is getting better. I just finished college up last year so I am applying for jobs with my degree right now. I have a couple interviews lined up for police departments and other jobs in the criminal justice fied.
P.S. Did you know your hair is very red?
