In social situations, have you ever talked about your heavy interest in model trains?
I feel like your passion for it would help you expand your social circle. Hahahahaha oh wow.

| Steph I miss you and your muff. Please do come around here some more.
Jimmy the problem with model trains is that they can never give you what you give to them... Stop losing faith in humanity my dude... People suck a lot of times, but you're going to be alright if you can learn to see the things you have in common with people around you rather than focusing on the differences....
If we break it down, we're really not all that much different from one another... Life is all about your perspective....

Started spending all his time with them, looking for something that wasn't there. Eventually his wife left him. Don't fall into the trap, man. I know you think they make you happy but they won't. There are support groups out there. One day at a time, man.

| Writing my resume for law firms...I forgot how much I hate writing resumes. Basically pumping my own tires and exaggerating my skills, framing my personality in a way that sells myself. I've studied 1 year of law, I barely know anything, I wish I could just be genuine and honest. But no, I have to bullshit the entire thing in hopes of getting hired at a firm. | |

I say this with peace and love jimmy, but based on what you post on here, it just seems like you take yourself way too seriously. You hate a generation because of their taste in music. It's cool you like classic rock and model trains which I guess in your mind makes you old fashion. Realize this though our generation, which you criticize so easily for simple things like enjoying Katy Perry, is by far the most accepting generation to ever walk this planet. Yet you're the most critical and narrow minded person on here who can't understand people don't have to have the same hobbies as you. You seem like a nice guy Jimmy, I just think you romanticized a time period and a group of people that don't really deserve it. Just look at the world Jimmy, the people you romanticize because they grew up with people like Dylan, Springsteen, Fogerty, etc. let the world go to shit. Embrace the fact that you're not a baby boomer, arguably the most selfish generation who designed a system which benefited them and left a mess for those who came after.
