I had a funny dream about TGA last night. I was on the backseat of a car, with people that I don't know. I was talking a lot about the band, the album release and everything that goes with it, and they all looked really bored because they didn't care. They even threatened to leave me on the side of the road if I didn't stop talking about it.
I'd volunteer to step out if they were uninterested in TGA. I wouldn't even ask them to stop first.

So I learnt something important today.

Man Neil Young and Crazy Horse were so good tonight, absolutely killed it. New Songs, fast version of After the Gold Rush, 20 minute encore of Down by the River, everything was awesome. The National supporting were also really good, the vocals got lost quite a bit though which took away a lot for me as I really love the band. Definitely need to catch them in a smaller venue and not Hyde Park.

The Grushecky concert was good last night. over 2 1/2 hours of live music. I got my Tee shirt for the band, and a signed Grushecky CD. Also pretty cool to have gotten to talk to him, and actually have him remember me from last year. He also had a guest-Ed Manion from the E street Band, so naturally they did two Bruce songs-Savin up and Hearts of Stone. Plus got a lot of my favorites, Code of Silence, East Carson Street, Junior's Bar, Fingerprints, Hearts of Stone, a cover of Burnin' Love, never be enough time, a lot of newer stuff as well. It was a fun nght.

I'm just coming home (it's 6am here) from a festival, I began to work (backstage) 13 hours ago... I'm so tired but I really enjoyed it! I can't wait to do it again.

So what do you guys think...you think my gf and I are going to get back together?
So my girlfriend and I had been going out for four months and everything was great. We had our small arguments but we always got over them and forgave each other. We hadn't seen eachother for 3 weeks due to her family the last 3 weeks. I was always busy at work and she always had to take care of her sister's kids. We talked on the phone every night. We saw eachother a lot before those 3 weeks and were very physical and things weren't very stressful at all. 2 weeks ago we started to get stressed but we were still making it. This past Sunday we got into a large argument and then in the heat of the moment on monday night i broke up with her. We texted till 1:30 in the morning though talking about why we were so mad at eachother and still told eachother we loved and cared for eachother a lot and wanted things to still workout between us. Tuesday morning we talked about our problems some more and figured out what we needed to work on. She agreed she understood what happened cause sometimes she lets her anger get in the way too and clouds up her judgement. Everything seemed fine and we continued to talk for hours and then she just quit texting me. That was Tuesday night. I didn't think I would ever heard back from her but today at midnight she called me exactly then and told me happy birthday very cheerfully and said she wanted to be the very first person to tell it to me. I asked if she wanted to talk and she said yeah and we talked for an hour. Is there still hope?

I would say yes there is hope. But only if you both follow through on the things you promised to do to make things work.

How were those last days? Did you talk to her again since this?

Not bad. I called her on Tuesday and we talked some and then she said to call her later tonight but I chose not to cause I wasn't feeling it. Then this morning as 1:22 AM...She texted me asking why I never called her. So I texted her some this morning and I asked her if she has been thinking what she wants to about us and she said she thinks about everything all the time. I don't really know where this is heading. haha

In social situations, have you ever talked about your heavy interest in model trains?
I feel like your passion for it would help you expand your social circle.

Looking for pedals that will give me a stoner/desert rock sound. Anyone know any good ones?

Try some fuzz. Especially a big muff. Most stoner band also play down tuned.
