This has me worried. First and foremost I hope everything is OK with Benny and his family. If they cancelled the Ottawa show than it makes me think there's a chance tonight's gets cancelled also.

He posted to Twitter 8 hours ago, "Thanks very much everyone for the good wishes...really nice to feel all this love, can't wait to beat the fuck out of my drums tomorrow" Hopefully that means that everything will go off without a hitch for you tonight!

| Agreed with the aforementioned comments about Atom filling in for Benny. Before the pre-show experience, we all heard the band sound checking, something was definitely amiss. Of course we got filled in once we were let in. I am still not that into Against Me, but wow, just so much respect for doing that and doing it pretty damn well.
I am holding back commenting on the pre-show experience until after tonight's PNC gig. Not sure how much yesterday's events affected the experience, beyond the schedule sliding a great deal (understandably of course).
Great improvements to sound quality - could hear Brian and Rosamilia's backup vocals perfectly.

Atom Willard is a great drummer and a rock veteran who's played with Rocket From the Crypt, The Offspring, Social Distortion and a few others as well. I'm not surprised he did a great job. Glad to hear he was able to step up and help out. I hope everything's okay with Benny. Has he ever had to miss a show before?

Doors apparently are at 6pm, not 7pm like it said on the ticket. It'll suck if people show up late and miss the beginning of Against Me.

| Let me be the first to say the Gaslight Anthem killed it at PNC tonight. They were great with the large crowd...Brian's small talk wasn't awkward, and instead it was minimal and to the point and meaningful. I was in Section 104, Row K and I thought the seats were going to be kind of far to the side but they weren't at all - I was right at the foot of the stage with a great view. Nobody pushing their way past me which was nice for a change. The sound was great, except the encore when they jacked it up even more and it got a little muddy, but still solid for a show like this. Someone else will have to provide a setlist since I don't keep tabs.
They new stuff played really well in my opinion, although the crowd went the most crazy for older material.
Just a really solid show. I'm very pleased considering I wasn't expecting anything this solid- $90 a ticket was well spent. The last time I saw the band do a full set was the Stone Pony last May, and this show blows that one away. I remember leaving that show being so disappointed, but this one proves to me they're back in form.

| That posted setlist is correct. They played from 8:55-10:40 (with a longish encore break).
And the band was amazing tonight. Such a beautiful, inspiring show, and so amazing to see so many people enjoying that music. New stuff sounded great, interesting mix of old stuff. Was fantastic to be close to the stage and still have space to dance and move.
Brian told a great story about seeing Depeche Mode there as a kid and thinking he needed to find a way to get on that stage. He also thanked everyone who helped the band get where they are... including Bruce.
Benny was there and seemed very appreciative when he waived to the crowd at the end.

| I think the sound last night got screwy because of the stage runner. Some guy decided to jump on mid-way through the encore, and must have knocked into something. After that it didn't sound as good.
It was a great show, ending with Brian wailing on the drums alongside Benny on Baba O'Riley. Loved it -- but I'll admit I was a little disappointed that's how they chose to end their biggest NJ show ever. A cover song? So many other options.

I agree in that I would prefer Gaslight play an original song than a cover (especially to end the set). Covers are great for openers where the crowd likely doesn't know much original material or for when a band only has 1-2 CDs. But Gaslight has so much material to fill the night!

| i have never seen them do baba live in person (countless videos don't count) but closing with a fun cover is a good fallback for bands imo because it's probably familiar and at times, can be a better choice than one of their songs. could backseat beat it? yea probs but they clearly like it and maybe it's easier on them. if springsteen can close each show with shout, they can do baba o riley | |

| The boys killed it last night imo. Really good sound, they were tight overall, and it was great to see that they looked like they were having an awesome time. Also thought it was cool how much appreciation they were showing for the fans. Best time I've had at a show in a while. There was a little girl in front of me in section 301 who at one point turned to her dad and said "Gaslights the best ever Dad!", it was pretty cool. | |

Could have been it, unless they jacked it up - I can't remember exactly when I noticed, but my ears felt like they were bleeding and I am glad the rest of the show sounded crisp.

| Those new songs besides Rollin' and Tumblin' and Get Hurt did not transfer well last night, in fact I was pretty bored whenever they played anything from GH. However the reimagining of the old songs worked very well, especially Wooderson and 1930. It has been over a year since I had seen them last, and if last night is any indication, they are continuing on in a direction that I have 0 interest in. It was cool to see them in a big place for about 10 minutes. I also feel like they played this show super safe. Ah well, guess I'll wait for the next tour to see who is support is, which is the main reason to catch TGA nowadays. | |

Oh man, let the negativity flow through yoU! They CRUSHED it at 9:30 club and thus far all the reviews of the other shows seem to be VERY positive... If the era you're yearning for is gone, you don't have to go to the shows.... But I'd love to lock arms and sing Blue Jeans with ya. Gaslight rocks

Yeah, I was down front all the way house left in front of Rosamilia who kept signaling to the sound engineer in the wings off stage left to give him more and less of things. I honestly was shocked to see the A1 off stage left versus in the house at a venue of that size. That said, I agree the sound was great for the majority of the show until the goombah.
