How late is probably too late/too early? Think I'm safe showing up around 930? Don't care if I'm towards the back, but don't want to be waiting for hours...

Anyone still looking for a ticket to this? Looks like I may have an extra. Not sure if they're still up on Ticketfly.

Hopefully he says some stuff about the Red Bull session, and other good stuff. Take notes, people!

GLA to the studio to start recording new album in Nashville in less than ten days. Awesome news. The Red Bull tracks should be up soon. I think he said they were sent the tracks and they're adding some stuff. Once that's done they'll be up for streaming.
All in all, I would have to say that tonight was better than night one with the exception that Molly And The Zombies had a very short set. I would have lived to have heard more but oh well.
Brian's choices of songs and he himself were spot on. So glad I decided to go.

He played more Gaslight songs on either side of the MATZ bit than he did total last time. I was at another show last night, but man if that setlist doesn't make me wish that I had reconsidered.

Holy shit the vocals on too much blood are excellent. Exciting that this is the voice that will be one that's getting recorded in Nashville next week

it's like he's developed more of a control over his higher register, and it's a little more countryish to my ears. I like it a lot

Agreed, exquisite. This song is one of my real favourites; but that version last night was to die for.

I recorded basically the entire show so I'll see which songs haven't been posted and try to get them up here sometime in the next 24 hours.
This show far exceeded the last one. Even though Brian made some mistakes on some songs, you could tell he actually put some thought and effort into this show, and coming up with an interesting set list. And honestly, I don't care how much he messes up as long as he starts incorporating American Slang songs again which he did!
Misery got brought up again, several times, and it sounds like he basically recorded the song really fast and then forgot it existed. But I think the 4 or so of us up front asking about it has made him aware that we do want to hear it. He said something about "maybe I'll play it sometime" or something. I probably have video of this so I'll check the details before I get more into rehashing it.
Other details:
Flannel asked Brian McGee about the line in "Smoke" that we can't get, so I know it now and will fix it in that lyric thread.
Brian also said "we have 5 songs" when talking about the MATZ recording which means one of their 6 songs didn't make the cut. Flannel also asked McGee about this and it's "7th and Union" so the Red Bull recording will have: Red Lights, Sketchy, Smoke, Lucky, and Long Drives.
