Thanks for the great job recording Debonair. I have to say that Brian's speech before playing Atlantic City was great and very telling. That speech was clearly intended as post-script to his ill-fated tumblr post.

Do you mind if I get a copy of it too? I really want to hear Long Drive. Just whenever you get the chance. Thanks!

No problem. That speech was awesome. Brian clearly felt bad for what happened. if you caught it at another part of the show someone said "sorry" for something and Brian responded like hey no worries man I've had to publicly apologize before - it's awful.

Both shows really seemed like a way for Brian to clear the air and get back to the roots of what's important in his music/shows.

I got the impression that he was sorry things went down like they did, but also that this was his way of making it clear that he's not gonna let stranger's nonsense dictate what he's going to do anymore either. Like he kinda took back control over his life (at least his life in this business). Which for his sake and ours is a good thing, because there will always be someone saying something dumb. From what he said at another show recently, something about his friends telling him he shouldn't indulge stupid stuff that people shout, it sounds like he's gotten some good advice on the matter and is moving forward.

What was the name of the song that Brian fit into Wherefore Art Thou, Elvis?

I feel like he just made it up. The only thing I feel like it mighta been is a song called Lay Your Hands On Me by Bon Jovi, but that seemed to be the only line that matched with that song

Haha, you say that because you've never flown from one end of the US to the other. Depending on what days you fly, it's roughly equivalent to flying from like London to New York (aka upwards of 1000 dollars round trip) and takes about as long. But that's if you weren't living in the area. I'm grateful to live a short car ride from Jersey
