AWWr i LOVE SKA! or, ok i'm not into it at all, but everytime i hear these horns i feel really happy maybe that's because i played the trumpet for some years haha
btw: don't know how famous streetlight manifesto are in the US, but as there singer Toh Kay is on the current Revival Tour lineup this may be a way for you to get into ska-punk through the (i'll name it) "gaslight-anthem-scene" and Chuck
Toh Kay was the singer of Catch 22! I think it was his first band. I like that dude Jay Malinowski from Bedouin Soundclash, he was also on the revival tour

I also can't stand ska, it's just not my thing. I saw Toh Kay on the Revival Tour (he's not on it anymore) and he was great, I just wish he always played acoustic because when I tried listening to Streetlight before the gig I couldn't handle it. Dude is an insane guitar player though.

Today's Facebook rant:
Just had to hide someone cus he felt the need to post a photo of a bunch of deformed Iraqi babies affected by whatever weapons we've used over there. No thank you.
I wish everyone I have on Facebook would try to just be pleasant and entertaining instead of preach-y.

Good job Jimbo, what's your workout routine and diet like?
Lorraine, that's fucked up. I do think Facebook can be a good forum for discussing politics/religion as long as it's within reason and doesn't specifically target anybody you're friends with.

Sounds good. Personally I've been too lazy to work out lately so I decided to just cut out most carbs from my diet on week days, I'm a bit more relaxed during the weekends but I've found it works very well. Overeating carbs is so easy but it's hard to get fat when you eat yourself full on lean meat and vegetables.

Pushups and Situps are great!
Doing a little cardio (jogging especially) will help you be able to increase your calorie count too so you can eat a little more and still have the same same calorie total
Keep it up man!

I think it's fine to want to draw attention to issues or causes. But purposefully trying to shock me is annoying and unnecessary.

I know what you mean. Some friend of mine has been posting videos with boston bombing injury photos and "proof that the Bombing was a false flag attack". They can believe what they want, but let's give it a few weeks out of respect right?

Today in my art class I learned that cherry blossoms can be symbolic for kamikaze bombers in japan. suddenly, "if i drove straight off this bridge" from the horrible crowes song makes a lot more sense
