CHRIS!!! You're too kind! I'll attempt to give some tips!

It sounds like you've found a tone/pitch you're comfortable with so I'd say you just have to build off that. You're not a bad singer, and I think you'll naturally figure out how to make your voice sound better and more comfortable over time. I'd say just try to keep your voice steady, and listen back to everything your record and figure out what you like and what you want to improve on and just keep working on it. I think a lot of people tend to kind of rush their words or lose track of the melody when they're singing and playing guitar at the same time, but it doesn't seem like you're doing that at all. Which is great because from my experience that's a really annoying thing to get over!

In other words, you're already on the right track, so just keep working at it and you will absolutely see improvement over time!

Awh, thanks Sarah. I really do mean it, everything I heard from you is beautiful. Thanks for the tips. It took Mr forever to find a pitch I was comfortable with haha. I just need to practice and give it time.

Haha, it's so annoying when you first start singing and listening back to it. I remember right when I started recording stuff I just hated everything I recorded and thought I would never get any better. But it does happen over time as long as you keep trying and practicing. And there's always ways to improve no matter how long you've been singing!

We were a rock band with a little twang. Our full length was on iTunes for awhile, not sure if it still is or not. I honestly haven't listened to it since we mixed it. We were called The Travesties, for anyone interested in iTunes snippets.

Chris- to be fair, she didn't give you much to work with. Just basically saying "you're hot" isn't always a fabulous icebreaker. It's like... where do you go from there. Actually when a guy just goes right for complimenting my looks, I tend to tune out because it makes him seem superficial and I don't want to talk to him. So I wouldn't beat yourself up over this one thing! I think you said last year you were looking for something more meaningful, and the chances of finding that in a bar are pretty slim anyway!

Yeah, I guess you make a very good point. Haha, I never wanted to meet my dream girl in a bar anyways. Though, at least she brought my self esteem back up a small bit. I have been needing a boost for a while.
