I think they're great. I usually like male lead singers with unique or raspy vocals and Craig definitely has that! "Stuck between stations" has some of the best lyrics I've heard too.

Apparently those tracks weren't supposed to be out yet. The label took them down. I didn't get a chance to hear them either.

They're on Youtube.

Both tracks are great. Craig Finn is possibly the best lyricist of this generation. They just keep getting better.

Those songs are pretty good. I hope the rest of the album is equal in quality. Craig just announced tour dates. I'm hoping to catch a show. It'd be neat to see him in a smaller venue.

Just picked up a copy of Heaven Is Whenever the other day! I'm not completely sold, but I've listened to it a few times, and it's alright.

I haven't! This is the first album by them I've heard. Should I check into their older stuff?

The aforementioned Boys and Girls and Stay Positive are both considerably better than Heaven Is Whenever.

I think all their albums are awesome , Heaven is Whenever is just a bit more laid back but the lyrics may be some of their best.

We can get together (Heartbreaking), Stuck between stations (Makes you happy!), First night (Kinda heartbreaking).

A lot of it's quite soft and gentle but not soft and gentle in the way that rockstars do solo records with just them and there acoustic guitar, and write 12 boring folk songs that all sound the same. It's pretty decent.

I think I'll dig it more after a few listens. Jackson and Western Pier are da bomb

Has anyone gone to a Craig Finn solo show yet or planning on it?

I really wanted to but the weather was bad and I had no one to go with so I didn't. I really like the album though.

I'm in the same boat for tomorrow's show in SF. Shiiiiiiit
