| I'm a huge Misery fan. The chorus rips me apart. The whole song does, really. | |

| I like them both, but I'd have to say it's Misery and it's not even close. | |

| Hold You Up has some great lyrics but Misery wins by far. That song gives me chills. | |

same! I'm not even sure why. it just really gets to me in a way that Misery doesn't. it's so like, idk, soft and sad and deep to me. and personal maybe? where as Misery is all like third person

| misery for me. I have wanted to hear it live for the longest time. I have an idea , and let me know if my idea sucks or is out of line, how about we take up donations for a new jersey food bank or some other charity and offer it to Brian in return for hearing it live at The Crossroads on dec. 18. I'll start with $50. | |

Dude, my buds and I have been begging for this song for a year, and he finally played it Europe. I'm not paying for it! I'll gladly donate to a good cause for other reasons but this...no way. I never say artists I like owe me anything, I hate that entitlement nonsense, but if ever an artist did owe some fans something, it would be this song at Crossroads. (sorry for the harshness, I'm still bitter .)

| The money would go to charity, I requested it when he was at the crossroads last winter, but alas, no. I just thought this would be a good way to raise money for a charity and in return get something were yearning for. | |

| In light of the song now being played, I would be shocked if it wasn't played at Crossroads. | |

No I know. And I would never object to donating to a good cause simply to donate. But whether you're paying Brian or giving money to charity, if you have to give up money to get a song, you are paying for that song. And considering the song has now been played live, I refuse to pay more that what I've already paid for a ticket, to hear it. EDIT: Sorry, that sounded harsh. It's not a bad idea, I just wouldn't be in favor of it for a song that has been played before. - Rizz wrote:

Preferabley EARLY night 1, haha. Whether I want to or not, I'm not going to enjoy the show until it gets played because every song before it I'll be thinking "that's nice, but are we gonna hear Misery?" If he could just announce that it will happen for sure in the two days, then I'll relax. This is the one time where I'd prefer to see the set list ahead of time, haha.

I think it's a cool idea, although I am really poor so... there are songs I would probs pay for (for charity) though... (Hold You Up, Tin Pan Alley, I'd def pay for some Cincinnati Rail Tie ;D)
