Who else will be there, to help lead the Gossip Girl cheers?

I'll be there with the Mrs., two buddies, and unborn child #2. This will be the little one's second Gaslight show from the womb.

I'll be there with a friend. What time are you guys planing to get there?

Doors are at 7...so probably 630ish...

Line will probably form around 1:00 PM assuming the crew from Philly is going.
I will probably get there around 6:00.

I'm guessing the times will be about the same as the Brookyln show right? Hause 8:00-8:45. TGA about 9:00 or 9:15 until about 11?

1pm? What does everyone do for basic needs like food and bathroom and generally finding ways to combat boredom!?

I'll be there. I get out of class at around 7, will probably be there at around 7:30. SO EXCITED!

Word. I don't get it. I'll call Webster Hall on Tuesday to find out what time Dave goes on and plan to get to the venue a few minutes before. To the extent I can get out of work before then, I'll plan to grab some beers in the neighborhood.

Shelby and I were talking of a pre-show meetup, anyone else interested?

I only ask because for example at the Brooklyn show I got there a half hour before doors and got front row in front of Alex L. And I personally couldn't take 6 hours of sitting in the same spot. But to each his own! No judgement. Just genuinely curious.

We plan to be in the area by 530ish, grab dinner, then hop on line. If Dave's not taking the stage until 8, I can't imagine it will fill up right as doors open. Then again, I could be wrong...

The only reason to be super early is to get front row. Otherwise you can get within 10 feet of the stage if you get there around 7:30-7:45 I assume.

I'm more concerned about getting a NYC Jefe poster first thing since there won't be many for sale and not having it get banged up for about 4 hours.

I'm in the same boat - getting two posters, and finding some place to put them so they don't get destroyed. Maybe we can bribe Danny - the Merch guy - to watch them for us?

I can't remember exactly about the American Slang show, which it's crazy to me that was 2 yrs ago now, but anyway, according to setlist.fm, they did all of AS except WDIWWWYoung and She Loves You.

Brian said something in banter in the last webcast along the lines of playing the hits and giving the fans about a month with it before going crazy.

What time has gaslight been playing until at other shows. I need to get a train at 11:52pm, do you think that'll be ok?

I think you should be ok. Assuming they go on between 9-9:30, I think the latest Gaslight would end is 11:00-11:30. 20 minutes, while cutting it close, is probably enough time to get back over to Penn Station/Grand Central. If they do go til 11:30, I'd get a cab to whatever station you're going to, because late at night the subways run a LOT less frequently.

I just got back from Cambridge where they went on I think a bit befoe 9:!5 and ended at like 10:45. It wasn't super long I think mainly because they could probably tell the crowd was beat. Still epic though (see my post in that shows thread if you want details). As long as the train is close by (and maybe even if it's not) you won't have a problem.

As for the lining up at 1pm. Totally necessary for me. I got there at 1 and there were 6 people ahead of me and I barely got the front row. I HAVE to get there that early to ensure the front or I'd get crushed. It was brutal but worth it. I did get a sunburn though.

I'll probably get in the city earlier and scout it out then get lunch but I intend to be inline around 1 again.

Anyone know what the barrier/stage height is like at Webster Hall?

EDIT: Warning- they've been giving people a tough time or not letting them in with stub hub tickets. I talked to Benny about it and he said they're trying to get those people in anyway. I'm nervous about it because I have electronic stub hub tickets so I may be screwed.
