You remember Alex L before he started dressing like a greaser / Mick Jones

You hear the name Matilda and automatically think of a woman that has broken bones.

You were a fan before they went on fallon(The TV show)....The sad thing is, This thread is probably going to be pretty accurate soon...should Handwritten turn Gaslight into the next worldwide biggest thing ever.

You think of Gaslight instead of Humphrey Bogart for a certain phrase.

Does anyone else remember preordering senor and the queen? That was my first release of theirs I had to WAIT to come out. Mmmmm. Half the fans at the time were apalled that it wasn't punk like Sink or Swim.

My first preorder was "American Slang"....I got on right after Bruce went up with them for 59 sound.

Same here, in the spring of 2010. But once I heard '59 Sound for the first time, I was a goner. And so the obsession began...

-Your favorites playlist on YouTube consists only of interviews, festival gigs, and "rare" cell phone videos of the band playing in places you've never heard of.

-Your friends and family can't enjoy the band because your obsession ruined them for them.

-You're more comfortable singing Gaslight songs instead of your own.

-You've tuned your guitar down, put on a funny hat and some flannel, plugged in and pretended to be Brian.

-You check Dimestore Saints more often than Facebook AND Twitter.

You know you're a gaslight fan when you've seen them 4 times and Brian Fallon once. (Twice in Portland, OR., Once in London, and a solo show in LA.) I'm making it 5 next month in Seattle.
