Handwritten - the 2012 new album thread

Ehh I don't know if I'll listen to Handwritten if its the next single. Something about putting on a record and already knowing the first two songs irks me. Hopefully I'll have the self control, I haven't in the past.

Does anyone else think that some kind of variation on that poster would've made for a really good album cover variant? That font with all those lyrics written in the background, and some kind of image as focal point in the center? I don't know what exactly, but that layout on the poster really hit me.

Yeah, that would have been awesome. Maybe on the note, instead of "Mae", it could have had the title "Handwriten" on it. That would have been an album cover to remember.

i dont like the fact that even buying the bundle doesnt mean you will get the blue vinyl....

...wow...only 200....surely all of us who just ordered will get the blue... (don't like the disclaimer on the vinyl bundle page about them 'trying' to get us the blue one)..

El Jefe said earlier on, that they were working out how many copies goto the online store, and to shops. I think we are all ok there...really do.

While I don't doubt that's what they told Jeff, the lack of pressing info from the label or store is disappointing. Especially when they've said you're not guaranteed a blue copy with the bundle.

I just ordered my vinyl bundle. I love th eposter and the t shirt is ok. That plus the deluxe edition cd signed from Play.co. Im well happy!

I've developed this compulsion where if it says The Gaslight Anthem on it i'm gonna by it. My bank account is not happy. I maybe debated buying that bundle for all of 30 seconds and then bought it, and I'm still saving up for a record player! I don't even have one yet.

I need rehab or a paying job to support my addiction.

Haha, I just bought an electric guitar yesterday and as soon as I saw the bundle with the shirt/poster/deluxe edition cd...I just bought it. I didn't even think about it. Maybe we should create a gaslight anthem rehab.
