I LOVE SOUTHERN ACCENTS. I lose my mind when Jason Stackhouse talks on True Blood! ha OK I think everyone here is well aware of my accent problem so I will just stop now.

I think from now on when people say especially outrageously annoying things on the web, I'm just going to get up and take a computer timeout before I get into some idiotic typing war with someone.

also ten minutes is A LOT i remember having to do a speech senior yr (of high school haha) and i think it pretty much consisted of Ferris Bueller quotes. and it still was only a couple minutes' worth.

it used to weird me out when mint ice cream wasn't green, but the more i think about...the more it weirds me out when it IS green

I like that we can just admit that fighting with strangers on here is a total downer. It's weird to admit it. But it makes me feel better. I really have to try to ignore the inflammatory stuff because my first thought is always "How can I completely destroy this person as they clearly need to be schooled." And then I quickly realize I am wasting my time. Let us go forth in Dimestore pleasantry and laugh at the wackadoos together.

THIS! I am going to do my best not to argue with the crazies anymore. It's just not worth it! I don't want to mess this place up with fighting. Like Steph said, I'm not making any promises, but I want this place to stay nice and fun, so I'll try to control my temper.

...and I agree about the non fighting thing, saying I'm one of the main culprits.

Don't worry about it, Gordon. There have been a few of us that have been fighting with people too much. It's over and now we'll just act like the super cool, nice people that we are.

No fair that you get Monday and Tuesday off! This week is going to be a little crazy for me. The girls start summer vacation this coming Friday, so that is the beginning of my 10-12 hour long days. It'll be fine and I'm actually looking forward to spending some quality time with them, but those are LONG days!

Blimey, sounds like you will have your hands full, but at least you are looking forward to it, that always helps I guess It shows that amidst the chaos that you do like your job, and you seem pretty damn great at it

Yeah, it's jubilee weekend, so its a 4 day holiday over here, I'm not a fan of the Royals, so we are just using it as an excuse for a houseparty and lots of decent music and drink.

Yep, I do enjoy my job. I handle the chaos well around there! It beats a desk job any day of the week. I would lose my mind (more than I already have!) if I had to sit in an office for eight hours a day. I would be so bored!

That sounds like a great excuse for a party! So are you staying drunk for four days?
