US Tour 2012

I would love to see Banquets on the tour. Somehow I doubt it, but it would be great.

Dave sometimes plays with a full band. Prague sounded amazing with them.

Any idea how big or small the Firebird is? A buddy and I have good friend who moved to St. Louis, and we'd like to roadtrip to St. L and crash at his house for this show--bc of course pittsburgh is not on the summer list.

But before we make all flight arrangements, I'd like to know how big it is, and what our chance for tickets are??? You gotta any intel?

according to this site, the capacity is 400.

so the odds of scoring tickets aren't looking good =(

Does anyone have any idea to when the actual tickets will go on sale? In particular Williamsburg on July 24th.

Williamsburg is tonight. No information about Webster is up on their site or is it even up on the Gaslight Anthem site or Facebook page. Just keep checking here and on their site, it will pop up eventually.

400 is about right. It's a pretty small place. I have no idea how fast they'll go really, but not a lot of things seem to sell out there, so I would think if you try the day they come available you would have a good chance.

The last thing I remember selling out there was the last Say Anything tour but tickets were still available until a couple weeks beforehand.

I think this is the first time I have to turn down any of these dates........but if I'm not going then I'll be on tour with my friends bands which I'm totally ok with.

I definitely want to go, but I'm not optimistic about getting tickets. The whole idea of treating the fans who got them here is a great idea, but it'd be even better if they had some way of getting the tickets into the right hands (i.e. not scalpers).

I would hope they'll address this situation especially after the recent onsales for NY and LA. A two ticket limit would be a great start. Will call only might be a pain but it'd also help eliminate the resellers.

That's why I loved the 45 video shoot. Scalpers are made irrelevant if the show's free.

i am hoping that i can easily get a few tix to the STL show at the Firebird. guess Pop's is "too big" of a place for them to play a tune-up tour? i don't know anything about the Firebird, but the online reviews make it sound like it's a damn hot (literally) place, and the middle of July isn't gonna help any.

and even if there are only 400 or so tickets available, if you get them thru ticketmaster or wherever within the first week, you should be ok. not a huge following in the midwest, i don't think; when i saw them in Indy on the last tour, the guy at the door that was in charge of counting heads for admission purposes told me that there were only 450 or so folks that came thru the door.

The Firebird used to not have AC but I'm pretty sure they do now.

Looks like the Nashville and Minneapolis dates are going on sale tomorrow....i only checked those two because of their proximity to the st. louis show, which still doesn't even have gaslight on their calendar...

Maybe their won't be a big announcement of onsale dates via facebook, etc, in the hopes it will deter some of the scalping....

Last night the Firebird tweeted that they don't know when TGA tickets go on sale yet but will post as soon as they do.
