They won't be supporting Soundgarden on Soundgardens Belgian date in any case (Soundgarden is booked for a festival with Metallica and some other metal bands, and that line-up seems to be pretty complete), so I'm rooting for some non-support dates as well.

Hm, very doubtful: the first band, Ghost, already begins at 1 PM, and they are followed by five other bands. Can't really see where they would put TGA in that schedule. And if you look at the bandnames: Gojira, Channel Zero, Metallica,... Not very similar to TGA, I think?

Or you mean before Ghost? That seems a little bit very early to me.

Anyhow, I would prefer an indoor show, where they headline, above a mediocre festival spot at any time. I'm still smiling when I think about their AB-gig a year ago...

Can't wait for UK dates, would have loved an appearance at Isle of Wight

I'm pretty disappointed that they choose to come to the Hultsfred Festival instead of putting on a regular club show. Sure, they've got some other pretty good bands like Mumford & Sons, The Cure, The XX and Frank Turner, but...200 bucks is a lot of money especially seeing as I only really care about TGA. Not sure that I'll go.

I'm pretty disappointed too. I don't think I'll be going and it feels really weird missing my only chance to see TGA this summer. Sure, I would love to see The Cure as well but it's still a lot of money. Hope there will be a club tour, like the on they did after AS in the fall!

me too! but the Zurich show seems to be a headlining show, so fingers crossed for more

I can't say how much I'm hoping for some more club shows between June 5th and 14th!

I don't think they will play only festivals. Might be like last summer hn they played a few club shows in between.

And a proper autumn headline tour would be nice

I'd think festivals would always be announced first and then the days in between that are not needed for travel logistics can be filled with headlining club shows.

I think it's not unusual that they concentrate on festivals during the summer, as the European music scene is all about festivals in that period. At least where I'm from - I'm almost certain that they won't do a club show in Belgium during the summer, all the venues are on a summer break
I think we have to wait for more headline shows until after the album release (probably sometime around spring 2013, as I would expect them to first tour the US in the fall)

the venues are on summer break? not in Luxembourg nor the UK, there's plenty of shows to go to besides festivals

I'm talking about Belgium, you have a festival here every week, you can count the club shows on one hand. All the bands that you get in a club (during the summer), we get on a festival. Sometimes great, but sometimes I wish they'd make place for an indoor show.

Just sitting here waiting........for some UK dates......

oh well that sucks :S but they'll definitely be back for a full headlining tour some time in the fall/winter

Yeah, that's what I think - or perhaps in the next year, because they might do the US first?
