It went ok, it was just really a training and getting to know what we are doing kinda day. Today is just shadowing someone for a couple of hours and then home (yahhoo) I only have to do two more days this week, selling the charity in public, so at least it's a quiet and relaxed enough week.

Plus, this job, gives me the safety net, of being able to look for work closer to home that I enjoy, without having to worry about bills etc. Yes, this kind of job is an absolute worst nightmare, but, any job is better than none

You're welcome! I'm glad it went okay. You have such a great attitude. Even if this job isn't your dream job (or it's your worst nightmare like you said!), at least it's a paycheck and that's a good thing. Whenever I complain about my job I try to remind myself of the same thing. I hope this job ends up being better than you expect!

I had a little "party" with friends yesterday so I'm gonna celebrate with my family today I bought cupcakes for everyone! (they sang happy birthday to me at the bakery because they know me, I have never been more embarassed ahahah)

Ahahaha, that's sweet, but I would have been embarrassed too. You're so nice to buy cupcakes on your own birthday! Someone should have bought them for you! I love birthdays - so much fun! But I'm ignoring the number now. Age doesn't exist when it comes to me anymore. You'll understand in a few years.

Right so I gave that 'friend' another chance (the one who slammed Gaslight and said he saw Frank Turner play to 50 people or whatever). I had a photo up on my Instagram from high school that had cheesy Skid Row photos in the background. He said I was old. I said "And on the week of my birthday. Thanks." He said "Happy Birthday. I'll play 'I Remember You' when you die of old age this week." So yeah, he's a winner? One who ended up on Is Anyone Up? and got ragged on for how old he looks when he's about 6 years younger than me.


So do I just unfollow, block? How should I handle this one? LOL

If so, my level for tolerance of people on there is so low.

Everyone should boycott Facebook like I do. It drives people crazy that I won't sign up, so that's pretty amusing.

The only reasons that I still have FB, is 2 games that I've played for ages, and some friends that I know it would be impossible to keep in touch with any other way, as they are useless with e-mail and such. If it wasn't for them, I would be off it. I really must see if I can talk them into e-mails and letters.

The only reason I would consider signing up for FB would be so I could see pictures of my cousin's kids after they move away. I keep in touch with people who don't live nearby through email and phone calls (ugh, I hate the phone!). I used to write letters a lot, though. I should start that up again. It's so nice to get an actual letter from someone.

Facebook is awesome.

Once I deleted problem people off Facebook I stopped hating it. Now I just hate it when the Facebook people make changes every 5 days to things.

Yep, it's really crept into society over here, and it's so bloody annoying, just the way people are more than happy to write in text speak, in fact, some of them are starting to sound like they type in it as well. I don't mind spelling mistakes, or such, it happens, but when it's a constant struggle to read what someone has presented to the world in whatever format, it just irks me.

Yes, I think that might be why I would be better suited to Twitter than FB, that restriction of characters does safe some rants...

To be fair, when I 'rant' it usually does bringing up a great discussion, I know how to grab peoples attention on there and it works. Granted, I do get accused of being negative and whatnot, but I think there's a difference between negative and calling BS on something and expressing that opinion.
