I've been to a grand total of 8 countries (which isn't many, but still )

I got some lovely Hot Water Music vinyl today.

i took French in high school, and then a couple classes in college, i've always wanted to become fluent in the language (although everyone here thought that was stupid, they wanted us to learn Spanish what with our proximity to Mexico and all the Hispanic people living here), but at this point, i think it would be useless unless i knew someone else that spoke the language or had some reason to use my skills, otherwise they'd just deteriorate. so, blah.

8 countries is a lot!

I would say crossing the border to Mexico counts.

I never speak French anymore but I took it in high school (Spanish too). Once you're in the situation where you HAVE to know it, you remember a lot more than you think. Like I went to Montreal last year and was so psyched I knew WTF signs said.

Edinburgh is pretty incredible. I would love to go to Toronto again, and Niagara was quite cool.

I'm not knocking, but the statistic of how many Americans don't have a passport saddens me. I love going to America, but I love seeing other countries. Not knocking you guys.

I just made my mom think I'm nuts. I was grabbing a towel out of the linen closet and decided to mess with her. So, I tiptoed down the hallway to the living room where she's sitting and peaked around the corner, made a face at her and then ran away giggling and said, "You didn't see me!!!!". I act like a 2-year-old when I'm bored.
