Mike, that's great that your apartment is so perfect! I only live three miles from work, so I know how nice it is being really close. It saves so much time! And that's fantastic that you already know your roommate so well so there isn't any drama wondering if you guys will get along under the same roof and everything.

Thanks for all of the encouragement with my writing! It really means so much that all of you guys take the time to remember that I write and ask how it's going.

I'm hungry, so I need to go find something for dinner. I'll talk to you guys later!

Yeah! It's full of bikers and flannel wearing hikers and stuff so that's cool.

The bad part is the show is on saturday which is St. Patrick's Day, the first one of my life, so I'll miss out on some of the drinking. But it's still cool, I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of people in the tavern on that day!

That sounds awesome. You playing acoustic or what? I've never done a solo show. Playing with a couple of my favorite bands next week though so I'm excited for that.

Songwriting under pressure is often the best kind! Good luck, and I hope to hear some recordings on here someday soon.

Anyways I'm in a pop punk band and we're opening for Such Gold and Mixtapes next week which are two bands I'm pretty big fans of. Not a fan of Such Gold's newer stuff really but I love the first couple EPs. And I love pretty much everything Mixtapes has ever done. It's pretty neat to play with bands you like.

Whoa! Nice! Mixtapes totally rule Maura and Ryan are really cool, their band is pretty rad too.

Yeah I've been wanting to see them forever and now they're finally coming through my town on their way to SXSW. I would've been excited to just to go to this show so playing it's just a bonus really.

I still have yet to see them. Missed both their sets and fest and they cancelled stay sweet last year. Not a huge such gold fan, but that it pretty cool to be playing with both of those bands.

Seahaven and Ghost Thrower are also playing but I'm a lot less familiar with those two.

So it seems like my mother might be coming over from Sweden to Santa Barbara next month, I'm really excited!
