How about this...

They sell medicines that have BOTH a suppressant AND an expectorant. How can a cough syrup make you cough while suppressing your coughs?! INSANITY.

Ooh, I think I have the answer to this one! The expectorant is supposed to break up mucous in your throat and chest so that when you do cough, it comes up. It's also supposed to help it drain even if you aren't coughing. Gross, I know, but that's what it does.

i had Barbies, too, but i think kids still have those now! at least they sell them in the stores still.

I LOVED Cabbage Patch Kids! I still have all of mine packed away in my attic somewhere. I loved Barbies too, so I'm glad to see that they're still popular. The girls I nanny for have about 20 Barbies and what seems like hundreds of outfits. Good times. Smile
