You said exactly what I agree with. Those who do not appreciate what they are blessed with....The ones who have 3 girls a week every week, those who just hook up, Those who treat their partner like crap, yet that person stays with them....It just gets beyond believable.

But those people don't have what you want. Just hooking up with random girls and having no respect for them and treating them like crap, that's not a relationship. Those guys are just being douche bags and I feel sorry for those girls. Eventually they will wise up and realize they deserve better, and that's when they look for a guy who is the opposite of the jerks they have been going out with. You'll see. Just give it time. A lot of people do stupid things when they are young, and you and your friends are YOUNG. They just haven't grown up yet.

Chances are there have been girls that liked you when you were in school, but they didn't tell you. Everyone has crushes that they never tell anyone about. Being 20 and not ever having had a relationship is not as uncommon as you think. Just make sure you put yourself out there, be confident, but don't be pushy or obsessive. Relationships take time to develop, and the best ones come out of friendship. You never know, the perfect girl for you may already be a friend or an acquaintance, but neither of you know it yet because the timing isn't right.

The next open Mic is next Friday. Every third friday. Maybe a country song. Either Down by the River or Like a hurricane, Runnin on empty, Hurts So Good, Acoustic Born To Run, Red at Night, And Brown Eyed Girl if there is enough of a demand for it, and probably turn it into a Sing along.

Nice picks! Hurts So Good is my favorite John Mellencamp song, tied with Jack and Diane. Every time I hear it, it always makes me think of the bar scene in Footloose.

I heard Brown Eyed Girl on the radio this morning. I love that song. The youngest kid I nanny for has brown eyes, so I always tell her that it's "her song". I've been singing it to her at naptime and/or bedtime since she was born, along with Sweet Baby James, You Are My Sunshine, Saint Judy's Comet (Paul Simon), You've Really Got a Hold On Me (I change the words a bit), and a whole bunch of other classics. No wonder she's a miniature rocker chick!

Man, Tonight is going to stink...Stupid 4 inches of snow expected...at least I have Train club to keep my mind occupied.

There is a 40% chance of snow showers tomorrow night around here, but it won't stick because it's been so warm this winter. I bet it will just rain. I would be SO excited if I woke up to find a foot of snow outside!

The Internet can be a giant pain in the butt, can't it? That's what was going on with my connection yesterday. I had to reset the modem, and when I did that, I had to recreate my entire account with my ISP. So stupid and frustrating! It's all fixed now though. I hope your problem is short lived!

I'm doing okay, I just don't want to go back to work today! I'm ready to start the weekend! My nieces and nephew are coming over on Sunday, so I'm really looking forward to that.

I might be making red velvet cheesecake tomorrow - it all depends on whether one of my friends decides on what she wants to as we'd decided we'd make dinner a few weeks back but she might have plans now. I'll take pictures if I do, anyway
