romance issues

We met in the elevator. I wanted to ask him if he was here for the journalism conference, but I was too shy. But he asked me. We introduced ourselves. He asked me if I have Facebook. I gave him my name and number. He gave me his number. We kept talking and talking until my colleagues came downstairs so we could go to dinner. We wanted to keep talking. He told me I should go with my colleagues. We texted each other a little, saying hi, how are you. I said I was going to the lobby to write. Later, he asked me if I were still in the lobby. I said no, but I was going downstairs. So he said he'll meet me there. We met. We talked for an hour. Life, love, and everything in between. He gave me hugs. Really nice, lingering hugs. He walked me back to my room.

It feels like a movie.

Well you could look at it like it's not fair of him when he knew he had a girlfriend the whole time. But they could always break up. They're probably having trouble anyway if he's spending time getting to know you and being a hugmonster with another girl (you).

In somewhat related news, I tried giving Notting Hill a shot (again- seen it already) and I got to the part where he's "interviewing her" for Horse & Hound and I just thought "What a pile of crap this is. There is no way I'm watching this."

ahahha notting hill was funny when I saw it, I don't like julia roberts though

I like Hugh Grant. I've got Alice In Wonderland on now (2010- never seen it). Til my ADD kicks in and I switch that off. Just whiling away til Eastbound and Down & Life's Too Short come on. Neither are romantic. Off topic. Oh well.
