I think it was more the fact that Eddie announced the other night that this is their 1000th show on stage, which was a strange one.
5H is a fantastic site, still have all of it printed out and stored away. Judging by a thread on the pit, I think they have got it up to around 898 at the minute, which would allow for early missing shows.
You're right though, they will make a big deal out of PJ1K, might have to break the old 'no more travelling for PJ' rule for that one

I've a sad...or funny story to tell about Black in London in 2009, it could be an amusing story to make others laugh on the PotR tour

There will still be lots of hanging out
Pearl Jam...remember when this thread was about them...
I see they are up to something like 104 different songs played on this tour so far.

So probably it wasn't their 1000th show then.
It was awesome nonetheless, so glad that I got to hear Off He Goes and Love Reign O'er Me.
Also, there were tons of Italians there.

Yeah, the Italians follow them about a lot. The ejits were lining up for Manchester an entire day before the first gig, and then started lining up the second the first gig finished, for the next night.

No, they always follow them about, even on the tours that Italy got 5 dates. There's no need whatsover to be outside a venue for that long, it's crazy, silly and dangerous.

It was funny, in Manchester, they were lining up that early, we walked in 10 minutes before X finished, and stood behind them.
